good sequel to the first but the series went too long

This is a solid and well done sequel. Most sequels fall flat on their face and can't capture the magic as the original but this movie came as close as could.

I tend to disagree with the previous reviewer. Although not as good as the first film, I think this film still holds it's own and anyone who is a fan of the serious would love to own this on blu-ray. I bought it with the complete collection.

Die Hard 2 is a normal Die Hard by that i mean John McClane swoops in and saves the day but some how he gets really beat up first. if you like the first one you'll like this one too

love the die hard movies . they look even better on blu ray.

He helped blow up a building in LA and now John McClane is helping with the air traffic in this one. Great action sequences and very good plot twist.

This has got to be the best of the series!! It could use more Special Features, but is still a must-purchase movie!

Some may say that this one is better than the first one, but I wouldn't go that far. This one is probably the worst one in the series. But don't get me wrong I still liked it and I have it in my collection.

Some critics praised 'Die Hard 2' as being better than the first film, others simply gave it four stars heralding it as top-notch entertainment. This is why I often dislike the taste of many professional critics as I personally found this film to be way overblown and cheesy, and not in a good way. Nowhere near as good as the original. This dvd however, should make fans of this relatively poor film happy.

I wouldn't recommend buying this movie on standard dvd let alone Blue-Ray. A critical success, 'Die-Hard 2' is really a piece of junk film that does nothing but disgrace the first film.
