One of my favorite 80’s movies, action packed and lots of suspense,, Bruce Willis at his best, definitely a must watch “

When you watch this in 4K its amazing to see the details present now. I have watched this movie so much I know it by heart. The 4K disc is a revelation. I hope the other films in the DH franchise look as good in 4K as this first film.

Had to get the 4k upgrade and was not disappointed. I hope we get the sequel in 4k also.

Anyone in the know knows Die Hard is a true Christmas movie tradition. Now with the great packaging don't even really need to wrap it is perfect as is! Can't wait to give this out for secret Santa and see the reactions!

This movie is simply a classic. The model for several "episodic" TV shows and numerous movies. You can see the pitch meetings..."It Die Hard, but set in...." Now I have it both on disc and digital, and the price was right!!!

Still the same movie. :-) Not much to say there. Yes it looks and sounds great on UHD BD. If you are someone like me who has bought this movie on VHS, LD, DVD and BD already then I think you will not regret getting the UHD version.

This is the classic Christmas or Not-Christmas movie. The 4k is the best this movie has looked and the only thing I don't like is that the rest of the Die Hard films aren't on 4k yet. Hopefully the rest will be released soon.

The only thing new about this 30th anniversary edition is the Christmas themed slipcover and art cards that are included, so if you already own any previous release you don't need this one...that being said if you don't own the movie I recommend this one cause the cover is great, lots of embossing and very high quality and a perfect way to complement a Christmas classic. Its one my favorite covers in my collection

Best Christmas movie ever? Perhaps so. Can't go wrong with the 4K beast version.

Die Hard has never looked better. The 4K really does look very good. Using the original negative was shot on 35 mm film using Panavision cameras and anamorphic lenses, save for limited effects shots which were done in 65 mm. The original camera negative has been scanned in native 4K, graded for high dynamic range (in HDR10) and it’s presented on Ultra HD at the proper 2.39:1 theatrical aspect ratio. It’s safe to say that this image has never looked better. The soundtrack is ok considering the original was Dolby Stereo. Mixing doesn't sound as good as new films of course but it is satisfying. For the 30th Anniversary I'm happy with it. Physical media is still the best way to enjoy a 4K UHD film. I recommend this title for your collection.

Best Christmas Movie (and gift!) Ever! John McClane best Christmas Angel!

Die Hard is one of my top 10 action films of all time, and it has never looked or sounded better in this 4K release. There are a few scenes where’s the picture is a bit grainy, but overall it’s a good transfer. I’m not sure it’s worth the upgrade if you already own it on blu Ray, but I’d definitely would recommend this release to anyone who hasn’t previously purchased it.

I received this copy for Xmas. A great classic movie redone in 4K. The picture quality is good. Not quite truly 4K like newer movies but it's an upgrade from the original movie. Still, I'm glad I got this copy.

I'm amazed with the quality of the sound and picture on this video transfer. It looks great on my new 4K TV. Highly recommended if you're a fan of this film! "Now I have a machine gun... Ho-Ho-Ho!"

The movie that started a million dollar franchize is now back in 4K. Is this a Christmas movie? I'd say yes, but no matter how you feel about the movie, it's definitely a treat to watch it in 4K.

This is a great movie for holiday. The digital copy is also movie anywhere compatible and available at all streaming services once redeemed at any one of them. Excellent value at a great price!
