I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a tablet and really just wanted something to connect to a TV to view movies on a bigger screen. I found that casting/streaming can be choppy and a direct link would probably be better. Well, I found this one, the only one that had an mini HDMI port, which does just that. Not choppy at all. I seamlessly watch whatever movies (SB) is on my tablet on my 55" TV. This makes it all worth it to me. If you are looking for a good camera or video, this is not the one. Not much stabilization and the aperture setting has much to be desired. Videos and pictures are dark and ghostly. I downloaded a new camera app but the tablet just has a low photo processor which is clearly stated in the specifications, so don't expect much. Speakers and volume are just bad, unless you buy better external ones. Of course when connected to the the TV it's great, sound comes from the TV speakers. Surfing and web browsing is average, not fast but not too slow. Quality of the screen is better than expected. I was looking for a smaller screen of about 8", but those did not have the HDMI port. I found the tablet easy enough to use, especially the ability to save to an expandable sd card of 32gb. All in all I would recommend it as it was on sale for $69.99 and does exactly what I need it for, viewing movies seamlessly in HD on a big screen via HDMI.

This Digiland 10 inch table has a taller format, more like 4:3 so if you have older movies or conversions from VHS tapes it will render them perfectly. The taller screen gives you more icon real estate to work with. Quad core is a must now a days to get anything running without a glitch. 1gig of memory is plenty for Android 5.0 and 16 gig of 'disk' space is a lot for music and movies. A DVD takes up about 4gigs of space so you may want to get a 32gig SD card and go to town on the videos. Overall it's a great tablet and a little bit different from the norm, which is why I liked it. The price is great and you get good value for your money. The build feels solid and not flimsy even though it's a bit thin. Will make a great first tablet for anyone.

First off, I can't complain too much, I got it on sale for $70. That being said, it has a beautiful display, 800 x 1280(most tablets at twice the price only have 600 x 1024). It is running android 5.1, and with only 1GB of ram it can be a little slow/laggy at times. I use this for casual gaming and Netflix, so it suits my purposes fine. The processor is quite capable, I think it would run smoother if it had 2GB of ram. Other than that, it is a great starter tablet and it comes with a screen protector installed.

I bought this tablet for my Aunt who still has a flashing clock on her VCR. She also has a 2008 or older flip phone. God bless her. But with three hours, ya know I had to literally set up a Gmail for her for the first time. And she insisted on being part of every step. And she wrote down things in her notebook while performing each task. By the end she was sending emails, and had sent two more since then. And I guess word suggestion is spelling for her, cause prior to tablet I had to "guess a text". On to the tablet, I think the 10.1" screen is perfect for her. It has google play store so she has access to more apps than she will ever understand. And my final test of a real winner was I went to the house yesterday and I could hear her using the bathroom and play arcade slots. So we all know if she's using it on the potty. It's a winner. For welcoming Aunt to 2016 at a very low $70 I thank you SO much!!! B

I didn't want anything expensive, I wasn't sure if I would even like a tablet. This one, on sale for $79 is perfect for me. I have not had any problems with it after using it for about 6 weeks now. Good battery life, seems like the right size screen for me -- not too small. Unless you are looking for some specific features, like using the 4GLTE this is the perfect starter tablet.

I mostly use the tablet for Netflix and you tube and it works fine. The battery is holding up well and I really like the 10 inch screen.

My wife who still uses a 10 year old flip phone wanted a tablet. She had never used a smart phone. I did not want to spend a lot of money. This tablet normally $109 was on sale at Christmas. It seems well built, has a high quality display and plenty of memory. Its perfect for us.

It is great value buy. Right size, latest android, right price. Camera may not be great but who cares about camera.

Tablet comes with good package. Like the Hdmi out feature but don't have cable yet to test the mini port LCD is IPS and resolution is about iPad 2. Not too bad for this type screen. Color can be better. Of course can't expect vivid color like Amoled screen. It's a bit slow sometime. It has GPS too but not road tested yet. Great value for less hundred bucks.

This Android 5.1 Lollipop tablet has a recent operating system and a very nice screen for an affordable price (thank you BestBuy). However, the micro USB plug is fragile (no matter which brand of tablet) and the WIFI reception isn't very sensitive. Good general rating and very happy to use it every day.

The tablet is a litle slow booting up. The screen also cracked after about 1 month, but not sure how it happened.

Use it for games and searching on the net. Easy to use and grest value. Actually got it for less than advertised because it was a hot deal for two days.

This tablet is ok for an average user, camera is sub par but work for simple things

Needed an inexpensive option for use as an IP camera viewer terminal. The app for the cameras was available for Android and the price was right for this tablet. So far it is working great for this purpose and some light internet browsing/email use.

It's a pretty ok tablet connection is good and has plenty of space not to mention the screen is huge!

Runs a little slow but great for a 10 yr old child

I purchased this for my mom for Christmas. It works for what she needs it for, playing games here and there, reading books, and checking her email.

I love this tablet! I have had a tablet before this and this is so much bigger! It also has a nice camera to it unlike some of the tablets that I've looked at previously.
