This is much better than a USB type C only.

Go to cable for hybrid family

Having both microUSB and USB-C allows us to have fewer cables in our "charging station" and still support fire tablet and older android phones (micro USB) along with the newer Galaxy and Pixel devices. The length is appropriate to move things around without being too unwieldy. The only piece which is a bit suspect would be the adapter at the end as it might break if you bend it too far.
