    I always buy a back up battery for my cameras. However, this one lasts so long ... I usually don't even need the back up. And it recharges very quickly .... I like that.

    The battery charges quickly and takes many pictures on its charge. I bought an extra battery so I'm never without my camera. I also like the ease of the charger.

    Bought as a back up works great but is small. Easy to recharge. Glad I bought an extra could not afford to have battery go dead in middle of my day.

    This battery works well in my Canon 340 Elph HS. It doesn't last quite as long as the Canon that comes with the camera (fewer mAh), but it is fine for any normal day of camera use. Also, it was a great buy at around $9.

    I bought a Canon camera and wanted to have the extra battery for traveling. Nothing beats having this spare in your camera bag on a trip. You are not always somewhere where you can recharge the single battery with the camera. You won't want to miss out, especially if you take movies, this can drain your power. So, get the spare. You won't regret it!

    always good to have a backup battery especially for special events. When on vacation the last thing you want to happen is a special photo opportunity presents itself and the battery is dead and you don't have a spare. The price is good and it does not take very long to re-charge.
