    I purchased two of these remote controls for the backlight function. It works well and setup was easy. Looks like this is a 3rd party type of product that is designed to look just like a "factory" DIRECTV remote control. I could care less, as long as it works which it did so all is well.

    I couldn't find my remote. Really didn't want to call DTV and tell them that, but since I always go to Best Buy for all my electronics purchases, I figured I would see if they had them...and did they ever! Best deal of the day for me!
