I love this vacuum. It works great. The reviews I read on bestbuy made me double think the purchase, but I went ahead and got it. I am extremely happy with my purchase. This replaced one of my battery powered floor vacs. The vac is extremely powerful and picks up dirt, dust bunnies, etc with ease. The cord is very long which helps minimize the times I have to switch outlets per area. Also, there are no bags to replace and the waste receptacle is very easy to empty. The vac also has a detachable hose that comes with an attachment that can be used to clean draperies, blinds, sofas, etc. The vacuum is heavier than my battery powered one, but the tradeoff is that its much more powerful. I also wanted to address some of the complaints I saw in other reviews. 1. The vacum hose is not long enough when using the handheld attachments: the first couple of times I used the vacum, I had the same problem. The attachments can be connected directly onto the hose. However, the reach is limited. The third time I used the vacuum, I played with this feature a little more and realized that the hose is supposed to be connected to the detachable vacuum handle for maximum reach. Once I did this, I had no issues reaching farther away. I have attached pics. Hopefully this will be helpful to others who's chief complaint was the reach with the attachments. 2. The vacuum is difficult to move on carpet: I have to totally agree with this one. If you are looking primarily for a vacuum cleaner to clean carpet, I would highly encourage you to buy another product. I am a 200+ pound male, and I couldn't imagine cleaning a house full of carpet with this vacuum. The issue is that the vacuum is set really low and there is no mechanism to raise it. Since the vacuum is so powerful, it takes a good amount of force to get the vacuum moving from a stop when on top of carpet. For me this is nonissue since i only have a total of five floor rugs that i clean with this vacuuum. The rest of my house is mostly hardwood floor and tile. Overall, I love this vacuum. It's great on hardwood and tile. It also cleans carpet very well, but may not be suitable for those with mostly carpet flooring in their homes, or those wanting to be able to clean very shaggy carpets.

I purchased it about 2 months ago. I use it twice a week. I'm happy with it. Nice design, long cord so it can reach down halls easily. Well clean Edges/Corners, easy to use, good for all surfaces, strong suction, small size and lightweight, easy to empty filter with the bagless feature.

This Dirt Devil vacuum is light weight, easily gets into small and difficult spaces, and has great suction ability. Emptying the dust and dirt container is quick and easy. Overall this vacuum gets the job done. I would highly recommend this vacuum.

Light weight, easy to maneuver, good suction on both carpets and floors. Easy to unload accumulated dirt. However, since the vacuum is bagless, while emptying the captured dirt and dust from the canister a small portion of the dust and dirt escapes into the air and floats around the area where the discharge is taking place.

Moderate suction, not high ratings, but hey - its for a studio apartment with very little carpet space to clean. This was purchased because it was compact and wouldn't consume a bunch of of closet space which is at a premium. We have other Dirt Devil vacuum cleaners at home which we have found superior to Hoover's we have had in the past.

I have been very pleased with my vacuum cleaner. Great suction and easy to use.

Solid performer. Good suction with brush head and hose. Small and compact fits into tight places. Low profile brush head gets under cabinets. Good length power cord. One of few that has swivel feature in the price range. Swivel is effective but a little stiff. Suction hose could be a little longer for attachments. Very limited attachments included. Overall good product. Exactly what i needed for my purpose (airplane). Would recommend as light duty household vacuum also

A great light weight vacuum. Really sucks all the dust without leaving it behind. Vacuum is slim & not bulky so it fits perfectly in your closet without taking extra space.

We purchased this vacuum for it's size and weight. Our house is 2 stories and makes it easy moving it from floor to floor.

Love easy to get in Conner plus the kids now help me less heavy them the other one that I have !!!

We have a small area that's carpeted and needed something better than the $50 vacs. This unit was 2x the cost but it's more than twice as good as the cheap ones we tried. Good unit for small area. hose reaches a long way but has small collection bin. Still I'd recommend for small areas.

I love the swerve effect. Lightweight. Discounted price made it an even better purchase.

I love this vacuum. Being I live in an apartment this fits great in my closet. It's light and sucks up everything. The only thing I wish it had was a long attachment without the brissels to get under the couch. But I can deal with it.... Vic

Love it! I would totally recommend! Its light & vaccuums great! Love the little container to thow what was vaccuumed. Excelent!

The vacuum is very easy to use and is very powerful. My only complaint would be that it is very hard to push but then again I'm am not sure if it's the vacuum or my carpet.

I love the fact that is' small and lightweight - I only needed it for my upstairs spare room. The price was just right, within my budged. Also, I love the Dirt Devil name.

We were looking for a lightweight unit that didn't take up much space in the closet and this unit fits that perfectly. Cost was also a consideration as we already had a "Big" vacuum but needed one more for hardwood and tile floors and didn't want to drag out heavy, larger vacuum..

Surprisingly this is a wonderful vacuum. For its small size it does have great suction. Have used this for 2 months so far and have not had one issue with it.

Ease in motion and handling. Good balance, and suction. Height adjustments could be better!

This vacuum was bought as a gift and it's great on short and mid carpets. The only problem is that the dust bucket is small and needs to be emptied out often.
