This game is awesome and virtually infinite as there are so many levels to achieve. Story is interesting and gameplay is perfect for the switch.

This game have it all. From a great story, excellent comedy and it is full of hours and hours of gameplay. It is definetly a great Buy.

This game is an absolute time sink. I previously had the PS4 version and never finished but not for any particular reason. Picked it up on switch just to have something and wow it’s been making me stay up far too late a lot of nights just trying to do a couple more floors in the item world to grind out a few levels. It’s fantastic. The most exciting part of the game is completely breaking your characters and having them be absolute monsters. If you like jrpgs you need this silly but entirely addicting game

I recently was able to get a Switch and tried out a few of the demos from the online store. I love strategy games so I decided to give this a shot. I am not big into anime so I was hesitant. I started playing the demo and was a bit turned off at first but once the strategy of the game started to pick up, I was hooked. I went out and purchased the game the next week and so far sunk almost 20 hours into it. I am now a Disgaea fan and even purchased the 3rd one on the Vita which I enjoy but not as much as this one.

Great game with literally hundreds of hours of content. Highly recommend to fans of tactical RPGs. Great on the go or at home.

That may seem silly considering how much content is in these games. I got the original game on PSVita, and D2 on PS3, and now this one on the Switch, and I gotta say hands down this is my favorite version. It seems streamlined where it needs to be, beautiful sprite work and animations. Plus, I love playing on the tv, and then just taking the game with me, to continue playing (seems like a gimmick you could do without, until you have one, especially with a massive game like this). All smiles here.

I am about 25 hours into the game so far and really enjoying it. The story is wacky and fun. There are a ton of things to do.

Disgaea 5 runs well on the Switch, plus it has all the DLC from the Playstation version already included. It's a bonkers game you can spend hundreds of hours playing. If you are fan of the series you already know what to expect, but if it is your first foray into Disgaea be prepared for brash humor, crazy min/maxing, and all out fun. It's a tactical role-playing game similar in gameplay to games like Fire Emblem or Final Fantasy Tactics, with a grid to set up an execute combat in turns.

What I loved about this DISGAEA 5 COMPLETE pack for SWITCH is that you get some nice bonuses for purchasing this at the start of the game: 1000000 to spend on stuff in the various lovely shops and you get a bunch of powerful characters too as an added bonus along with some other amazing extras. This is well worth the asking price and will keep you glued for a long, long time!!!! While the stories are ridiculous and the situations stark raving mad, the characters and their performances are likeable and will keep you coming back for more.

I've played Disgaea 3 long ago and spent hundreds of hours in the item world doing side content and leveling up items and expected the same with Disgaea 5. But the amount of grinding to get through this game was a bit much for my taste, and the anime tropes like over-the-top writing, overly confusing plots, and some questionable dialogue did not work for me in this game. Disgaea fans should find more of the same in this game if they're in the mood for more, but I think I have become burned out with the gameplay here.

If you haven't played Disgaea games, then you may want to stary looking into them. This 5th installment is one of the must have games for the Switch if you enjoy tactical RPG's

What a wonderful game! I could easily spend hundreds of hour customizing characters and items. Not to mention how wacky and fun the combat is! If you like ff tactics, get this.

Got this on Black Friday. Amazing deals. Super fun and the graphics are excellent. Played for hours as soon as it was installed. Waiting for the weekend. Get this game now.

This is my first dive into the Disgaea franchise. I really have no idea what I'm doing. I like RPGs (both action and turn based), but this game seems to have a very steep learning curve. Tons of characters, abilities, and items. This edition gave me like 1 million credits (used to buy items, heal characters, etc) so it made starting the game a little easier. If you have some patience and like RPGs, grab this game!

I never played the previous installments but one play through of the demo and I was hooked. This type of strategy rpg on the switch is a match made in heaven. The anime look and feel is fantastic and while the story isn't great the gameplay really shines including the ability to make the game very challenging for yourself whenever you chose. Well worth the time and it's great to pick up and go.

I have always loved the disgaea series and this by far is my favorite one! All the DLC is included in this as well which adds a lot of replayability on the go.

Awesome game tons of gameplay for hours best yet for your buck

This is a game where you can sink hundreds of hours into, assuming you enjoy tactical turn based games like Final Fantasy Tactics. Don't expect a serious story like that game, though. Disgaea does not take itself vey seriously, at least in regards to characters and storyline. The gameplay, though, is highly detailed and exploitable by design.

This is a great addition to the Nintendo switch catalog if you like turn based strategy comedy and a game that never ends . ..literally the game never ends. Then this is the game to pick up. All additional DLC is included in this. So expect to put in at least 80 plus hours in this game and you're still not even scratching the surface.

If you know the series, you know what your getting into. If your not known to it, at it's base it is a simple tactical RPG, if you don't want to max out everything and top score every map you don't need to dig too deep. If you are the kind that wants to get everything done in a game, this game will take a VERY long time because of how complex the system can go.
