It's one of the better re-masterings of the last-gen games. The graphics are stylized to evoke paintings and thus not as subject to aging as games going for photorealism. The story is solid and gameplay is good but uneven. It supposed to allow multi-tactic style gameplay (a la Deus Ex) but it is skewed toward stealth. The powers are hit and miss in execution. It uses good imagination in using the geography of a level to your advantage with the blink power but it suffers in tension that distances the player too much from the danger. Also performing compound maneuvers is not a fluid process but a series of abrupt transitions. It comes with the expansion pack which is sort of a side-quel to the main story. In some ways it's a better story than the main game because the character is voiced and helps give the player a better point of identification. Highly recommend for those who also enjoyed the Thief reboot game.

This is a pretty great game overall. I read reviews complaining about the load times but I haven't had an issue with them, so it was basically a perfect game. The storyline is sort of all over the place, but in a good way. Controls are pretty easy to use overall too. Would definitely recommend.

A brand new IP that came relatively late in the PS3/Xbox 360 life cycle, Dishonored was a breath of fresh air and an ode to the Thief games of old. Experienced from a first person perspective, the game places you in the role of a man who must turn assassin in order to clear his name. However, the game is built to allow you an amazing amount of freedom in how you approach missions, and it was this smart level design that really made it stand out. Flash forward two years later, and we now have a remastered version for current generation hardware, just in time to experience the world again before the sequel releases this summer/fall. If you've yet to experience the game, I highly recommend it; if you've played it last gen, I would still recommend it if you can snag it for $15 or less (picked my copy up for $12 on Black Friday).

Dishonored is awesome, throw in all the DLC and updated graphics for a lower price and it's a deal you can't pass up. Dishonored is one of the very few games I've played all the way through multiple times in a row. Each time you play through, the game can be significantly different based on how you play. My first play through I beat the game without being seen, without killing anyone, and with no upgrades. It was very satisfying to get those trophies but now it was time to spill some blood! My second playthrough was completely different. I massacred everyone I saw in the most gruesome way possible, I maxed out my upgrades and no one could stop me. The most interesting part about my second playthrough was that the more people I dispatched, the more the world slipped into corruption. More rats, more plague, everything was changing. It was a completely different experience. I recommend this game to anyone who enjoys violent video games. Buy this game, you won't regret it.

I bought this cause my sister and friend are obsessed with the original. I didn't have the means to play the original so I bought this one. It's very interesting so far. I really enjoy the gameplay and the story.

Better visual appeal for Dunhill (compared with pc) but not SIGNIFICANTLY better :-( Good stealth game! appealing DLC. For it being a port, the price was right!

There is a reason this game was up for game of the year upon its original ps3 release. It's amazing gameplay is rooted in player choice. Go in sword slashing, guns blazing, or tactically manuever with stealth. Do a combination. It's great. It's up to you. Great story, graphics are improved for this Definitive version and all DLC is included. Great for a newcomer to the game (like me!) Oh and there is power ups too. Slow time, teleport, and more! I can go on. Buy this game! It's up there with the best games released at a bargain price

I paid $20 for this game. And I have to say it is worth every penny, you will not be disappointed. It is vey challenging and keeps you on the edge of your seat. Good story line.

I own Dishonored on Xbox and PS3 and was very excited about it coming to PS4. One of my very favorite games - great combo of stealth and story. All the DLC is included.

Dishonored is a remastered game that is well worth being brought to the new gen consoles, it is a strategic and rpg, also very fun

This game was a hard sell for me, seeing as I had already played this to my hearts content on the 360. But now this Definitive edition has been made for the current gem in order to sate people's thirst for the sequel. all in all great game. If you are a fan of stealth games then this is a must buy for you.

Love this game! Friend recommended it so I wanted to try it. This is a new package with all content included made for PS4. You need to play through the story at least 3 times to experience all storylines and playability types. Really fun game, even better storyline/s. BUY THIS, PLAY IT! A new part 2 or whatever is coming out soon as well :) I can't wait

I first played this game on PC when it was first released. If you enjoy games like Half Life 2 and Bioshock then you will love this game. It has a unique art style, fantastic stealth and action gameplay, and comes with lots of dlc and improved graphics for consoles. Very recommended.

I played this game originally on the PS3, and for anyone like me who upgraded to PS4, and sold their PS3 this is a must buy. Same great game and the graphics have improved slightly, but considered the artistic style it couldn't get more "realistic." Anyway amazing game. Must buy.

Dishonored sets a dark grim atmosphere that has a cartoonish art style to it (reminds me somewhat of a Tim Burton Film). The story is fantastic along with the option of either eliminating your target or just neutralizing them by other means can easily change the mood of the story. I highly recommend it if you're into stealth games.

If you like playing stealth games this is easily my choice for people who didn't get a chance to play this on the 360/PS4. Also this game is alot better than Thief and has alot more powerups and gadgets to keep the game interesting and exciting

Never got the chance to play this on PS3 or upon release. Thought it was worth a shot for $20. I really like the stealth gameplay & Bethesda does another great job on letting the player decide on play style! Can't wait for Dishonored 2!! Pick this up first.

They have just upped the graphics with Dishonored.. they improved the game play entirely. This is a great effort from the team in order to make many changes. Dishonored is great by itself..but now in HD and with the DLC it's well worth the 40 dollar price tag.
