A unique and fun experience

I rarely get involved with games that deal with magic, but having beat the game already, it made Dishonored a lot of fun to play. Each mission essentially lets you choose the way how to approach a situation (either guns a blazing, a ninja who doesn't harm a soul, or a mix of both). Just the fact that the game challenges your honor and wit should be a good enough reason to play it. All in all, a very solid story-line and engaging combat (or lack thereof) provide a fun and thrilling experience.

One of the best stealth games of the generation

Dishonored stands out as one of the best stealth games in the last decade. The level's are huge and exploration is mostly optional but worth pursuing. The kill animations are some of my favorite in any game, but can get repetitive as the hours go on. I encourage anyone into stealth or exploration to pick up Dishonored ASAP

This game is a great game but for 60 dollars its terrible. The missions were fun on till i found out that there are only 7 missions. Also when play the game twice i fill that the developers try to rush the story mode after the third mission.
SO if you can get this game for 30 dollars or less i will recommend that you buy it. But any thing higher then that dont buy it.

Disappointed in Bethesda

The storyline of the game is your classic betrayal and revenge assassination plot. Where it stands out is the stealth and magical abilities for the player. However, I'm VERY disappointed in Bethesda studios, after the masterpiece of a game Skyrim turned out to be graphically speaking, Dishonored has terrible graphics. Their game Rage released in 2011 has better graphics than this game. Honestly, if it were possible I would return the game due to the fact that I paid $60 for a game with graphics from near 2009. With that said, it's not a total loss and was a somewhat enjoyable past the graphics.

I played this game maybe a total of 10 hours so I am not sure if maybe I missed something or it gets better but I kinda couldn't get into this game. I actually bought this game based on a lot of good reviews but the graphics were too child like for me to really get into it. I bought this on black friday for like 7 bucks so I wasnt really upset about only playing 10 hours and then selling it back for like 1 dollar. I got a PS4 and just got rid of this as well as my xbox360 and never looked back since.

What was Bethesda thinking?

Bethesda Studios really flopped with this game. After Skyrim, this game is just a huge letdown. The graphics were terrible comparatively, and the storyline was pretty cut and dry. Other games to compare it to would be Assassins Creed or Fable, but both have so much more freedom to roam and run around. Bethesda really could have improved the world and allowed the character more freedom to explore.
Also, Dishonored puts you on a straight path that has a few different choices to enter a building or kill a character. They give you optional side missions, but don't really give you the freedom to change the story like Fable.
All in all, it was one of the shortest and most boring campaigns I have ever played. You can guess the ending well before it happens. Not money well spent!

Skyrim was a flawless gem as far as video games go, but Bethesda's latest release, Dishonored, is about as fun as a box of rocks. Glitchy, grotesque, and unoriginal, Dishonored disappointed from the first load screen to the last anticlimactic cut-scene. Objectives are often confusing, gameplay feels slow and awkward, animations appear funky, and the fight sequences are annoying and disgustingly, unnecessarily bloody. Couple this with an uninspired storyline, and you have a classic letdown. I hate to be so down on what could have been a great game, but it's tough to compliment a waste of $60. One out of five.
