This dishwasher is a great dishwasher so far and looks amazing in my kitchen. With that said the process from order to install was horrible. I paid extra for installation and was told everything would be taken care of, however that was not the case. After being rescheduled three times over the course of a month, the installers showed up only to say they weren't able to install it because it was a built-in unit. My father ended up installing it. These do require modifications to be made to the cabinets, and installation is somewhat complicated, but the directions are pretty easy to follow.

I purchased this DW about one month ago. It is Very Quiet- some time I am not sure it is running! The main silverware basket is large and along the side of the lower rack so is not in the way of larger pots or platters. I find the 3rd rack to be unused, all though it seemed like a good idea when I bought the DW. Unfortunately it gets in the way of taller items in the upper rack. The lower rack needs to have more tines that flip up or down to allow larger items to fit better. The dishes come very clean and the food screen is easy to clean.

The young man who installed our new dishwasher did a terrific job. He was quick, efficient, easy to work with, and respected our property. We would definitely use this service again for future installations.

Moses Damen was an excellent installer--efficient, friendly and personable, and expert. Although he arrived later than scheduled (circumstances beyond his control), he kept me informed of his schedule with frequent phone call updates throughout the day. The majority of Mr. Damen's business is home entertainment installations, but he was very experienced with my dishwasher installation. He guarantees the quality of his work for a year.

After buying dishwasher I researched the installation company, which is a third party. Seems many negative reviews, especially for refrigerators and dryers. Seems the installers are contract workers. So Bestbuy assumes limited responsibility, if any. The installing company has contractors, rather than employees. What could go wrong? Happy to say the team that installed my dishwasher was top notch. Knew what they were doing, did a very nice job, protected my wood floors and made sure the unit worked before leaving. Very happy.

If I could give 10 stars for the installation I would do it. There was no wait for installation, they were on time and knowledgeable, and fast. He was friendly and gave us great tips. He had everything on hand. I was so pleased I even asked if we could hire him on the side and this guy was so ethical and loyal to BB, he apologized and said it would be a conflict of interest. So MORE POWER TO BB and their subcontractors for treating their employees right and well. This is always a great indicator as to how they run their overall business. I won't buy anything else anywhere else unless they just don't carry it.

My new KitchenAid dishwasher is just wonderful. I forget that I even started it that how quiet it is. The finger proof stainless steel door is a god sent I almost never need to clean it. This dishwasher cleans the dishes and pots so well that the pots actually have a shine to it. Very happy with my purchase.

Word of warning: If you are ordering from the Tracy, CA store insist that the Geek Squad deliver or you will be sorry! Delivery guy was rude to my husband but that is just the start of the issues. It took 4 weeks to get all of my ordered items. One item (dishwasher) was delivered and stopped work in 72 hours...yes....hours. The replacement came late (scheduled 12-4 arrived near 7pm) and was damaged beyond repair...so we had to wait for the 3rd and final dishwasher that WAS delivered and installed by Geek Squad's Dale. He was on time as well as quick, friendly, and knowledgeable and the dishwasher works perfectly. In store staff is also great especially the Appliance department team (ask for Aujhana but Stephanie and Javier were also very helpful), the Geek Squad mgr. Joe, Brian and Marcel but the delivery problems added stress that completely ruined the fun of getting new appliances.

Purchasing installation for the dishwasher was somewhat beneficial. Primarily to get unit unpacked, in the house and opening (was pretty heavy), and also to get electric cable/hoses attached correctly. I watched him do the install, and that was fortunate, as after he was done it stuck out too far. He indicated not being able to push it back any further and that my cabinet depth wasn't enough. However I thought about it overnight, thinking that didn't make sense as my former unit was ok. I then read the instructions (that he didn't read), and realized he didn't run the drain hose in the clearance space that he needed to, so it was obstructing the ability to push back further. I pulled the unit back out the next morning and re-ran the cables/hoses through the cabinet where instructions stated, and was able to get the dishwasher to push back further into the cabinetry. So I learned how to install properly from this experience for the next time. Was a bit frustrated that he didn't do correctly, but I also had a positive with him in putting a range in place that was more of a challenge than what I expected (and didn't pay for installation or delivery on that unit). That was due to flooring and trim work put in years earlier, but after the former unit was in place. So I called it even... but make sure the manual is followed by the installer!

The actual installation date was not only over a week later than scheduled but was scheduled for 3 separate days: delivery, removal 2 days later and installation a few days later. I’m 80 years old with emphysema and still in physical therapy for a broken foot. I upgraded to 4 stars because they were finally able to do It in 1day, 1 week later than the original date and the delivery guys were great. It was after you re-opened and took many calls and tears on my part.

The Best Buy installation crew was innovative and efficient. They could not have been better.

The installation technician was very knowledgeable and fast. My old dishwasher was installed in a very non-normal way which took a few extra minutes to get out- but he did it rather quickly I thought. In less than 1 hour I was washing dishes again and happy.

My delivery got delayed a couple of times, but both times were for very understandable reasons. I was also informed right away, then prompted to reschedule both times. The guys who delivered my dishwasher were very kind and kept me informed on the fact that they were running a bit behind on the day of delivery. They promptly set up my dishwasher, and were informative and helpful! Thank you!

At first I would not hVe been impressed. The first one made a mistake and things didn't work. Maybe he was new?? But Best Buy sent another team and took care of everything.

Installation of my dishwasher was great, the installers were efficient, polite and professional. They communicated with me the day before and the morning of install so I knew when to expect them and they were bang on time.

This dishwasher works exceptionally well. It has three shelves and the top shelf saves room because it allows us to put our large utensils on it. We love it.

Dishwasher install was good. The original dishwasher was not working correctly, but the service technician double checked everything to ensure that the install was correct. Once the unit was replaced and reinstalled, there were no further issues. Technicians arrived on time and quickly completed the install. Price is a good value as it would likely be more expensive to hire a plumber to install.
