Customers are delighted by the smooth gameplay, Star Wars content, and the variety of characters in Disney Infinity: 3.0. Many appreciate the game's ease of use and impressive graphics, while some find the Toy Box feature particularly engaging. However, the cost of additional figures is a recurring concern for some buyers, as is the incompatibility with figures from previous versions. A few customers also mentioned concerns about platform compatibility changes.

Fun Game for Family
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My wife and I purchased this for our son who's in love with Star Wars as an upgrade to the 2.0 version he already has. We've sank plenty of hours into 2.0, and I must say the changes to 3.0 are fantastic. Platinum Games does a wonderful job at making the gameplay as smooth as can be and the figurines look great on display. There are plenty of unlockables and the toy box is fun to tinker with. The addition of the extra Toy Box games adds some additional longevity to the game and we're looking forward to picking those up soon.

Enjoying it so far!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So, I have had only a little time to play the game so far due to work and kids, but so far I am really liking this iteration of the game. I liked the last two as well, but I also agreed with all of the criticisms of the previous two editions. I set the game to extreme difficulty because the previous two versions were just too easy for an adult. Not this one. It's pretty challenging on the extreme level, so that will make it enjoyable for me as an adult. I have played with the toybox takeover for the first section and have enjoyed it! I hope they release more things like this in the future. The central game hub I have just begun to explore but it is much more intuitive (and fun) than the 2.0 version (which always crashed whenever I opened too much of it at a time on the wii U). Ahsoka (sp?) is awesome in terms of playability. Annakin's ok. So, again, only just really starting to get into it, but definitely enjoying it so far!

Wonderful! Great replay value
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am a huge Disney Infinity fan already so I knew I would be getting this game. However, when I actually played it I was blown away! They have made some major improvements across the entire game and it is infinitely fun! There are so many ways you can play this game, you shouldn't be bored of it for a long time. There is the traditional-style gaming with the playsets which you go on missions and follow a story line as well as put your own touches and go on side quests at your own leisure. They've really made the playsets much better this time with tons of voice acting, cut scenes, and varied and fun missions and side quests. With the included playset you get to travel through space to 4 different planets and have space battles, boss battles, and much more. You can also go back and replay missions whenever you like without having to start the game over. They've also really improved the fighting system, it's much more advanced for adults but still accessible for little kids. They've even included combat kiosks that teach you step by step how to do the advanced moves. If you are a Star Wars fan in anyway you will enjoy the playset included in the starter pack. The toybox has also seen major improvements with a toybox hub that has interactive tutorials that ease you into the way of the toybox and shows you how to create your own worlds and your own games. There is so much to do in the hub alone before you even make your own from scratch! The hub has tons of content ready to play in. There are tons of tools to make building faster and easier and you can find so many tips and tricks from their youtube channel. The hub is sectioned into 6 different parts to show you the wide scope of possibilities including: Driving, Combat, Interior decorating, Racing, Platforming, and Farming. The figures are incredibly detailed and are gorgeous enough to collect without even playing the game. My kids enjoy playing with them on screen and off! Really well made and look great for both adults and kids to appreciate and collect. Improvements: The driving mechanics have been improved which is great because the older games were tough for me to race in, I kept falling off the edges before but this time seems easier to navigate. The combat is much better this time around with quicker response time and more advanced moves for the more experienced gamers but still enjoyable for younger kids or new video gamers to just button smash and see awesome combos and attacks. Farming is new to Disney Infinity (which can be quite addicting!) where you can grow and harvest your own crops which include traditional things like corn, carrots, lettuce but also include silly crops like a cupcake tree and churro cactus. The side kicks have also seen a big addition with complexity and tons more to choose from. You can bring your favorite Disney characters with you in your toybox, in the community toyboxes, and even the Toybox Takeover expansion! You can level them up, feed them food, bring them with you, and equip them with gear to suit your needs whether you want them to farm, fight, or just tag along. Overall I would definitely recommend to anyone who loves creating worlds, who loves open-ended games, who like Star Wars, who enjoys a huge variety of things to do, and whoever enjoys the toys to life genre. I pretty much would recommend to anyone who is a kid at heart :) A huge win for me! Thanks Disney Infinity! There is just so much in this game!

A new series, make shelf room for those figures!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you're familiar with the Infinity series, then this is pretty much an expansion to the whole series albeit you cannot go wrong on making it the best expansion of the Infinity series so far! I mean c'mon this is Star Wars!!! The kids will love it (on top of all the new figures in the Infinity universe coming out!) and most likely the adults will love it more and have something to play alongside the childrens!

Great expansion to the World of Disney Infinity
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this for my husband's birthday. I have yet to play this latest version but my husband is a long time Star Wars fan and the new characters definitely add to his experience with the Infinity game. My 11 yr old daughters also love that they can pair Tinkerbell, Baymax and their other characters with Daddy's jedi. I love seeing how much fun they are having with it and am anxious for my turn!

Best Playset yet
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This playset is for Disney Infinity 3.0. It comes with two characters and a playset piece. The star wars playset is by far the best Disney Infinity playset yet. The game is extensive, very polished, and a lot of fun. Has multiple space and land battles in familiar star wars locations with all of the great star wars music. Playset feels like a real complete game. Highly recommend it.

Fun for adults and children
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Infinity 3.0 has Star Wars characters! That in itself makes it cool. Disney had done a good job with this edition trying to correct some of the issues that many players had with the 2.0 version. Things aren't perfect but detailed levels, characters and vehicles do help to make up for the short comings

Great Star Wars game
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game is a lot of fun. I like being able to play a Star Wars game and change the character I want to play. It is geared more toward younger players, but it is still interesting to more advanced gamers. The toy box area is huge with lots to do and create.

WII U + STAR WARS = AWESOME
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Disney Infinity series is basically their version of Skylanders but with their characters. Disney Infinity 3.0 now adds the Star Wars characters to the game and you can use all the characters from Infinity 1.0 and Infinity 2.0.

Love Disney Infinity
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I watched the UTube videos first before buying. Absolutely an adorable idea to be able to create your own worlds in the toy box. Although Star Wars is good, I can't wait for more expansion games with Disney and Pixar characters.

Only gripe is 2 player limit
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Otherwise it would be 5 stars to me. The game is fun, graphics and sound are good and gameplay well done. Still not sold on requirement to use pieces to play as character. It's novel, but wears off fast when you a) are limited to 2 and b) must keep it someplace you can get to it and put the pieces on it.

Great game for kids and parents
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great game. If you liked the last two you will love this one. The wii u version does not have any touch screen advantages this time. The load times are a little long. If I had an Xbox one or ps4 I would definitely go for that version, but the wii u version is still fun and playable.

At long last...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The latest in the Disney Infinity onslaught has arrived. The series keeps getting better and better. Graphics and gameplay on the Wii U platform have improved. Love the fact that there are no more blind bag power discs.
