I probably have just about every video incarnation of this story. Until this movie, my favorites were the 1951 B&W version starring Alistair Sim, and the Lifetime channel version "Ebby", which had Susan Lucci in the role of Scrooge. As usual, Disney works it's 'magic' to make a movie that has mass-audience appeal, while still striving to stay true to Dickens' original story. And I have to say that Disney Animation Studios can definitely give Pixar a run for its money. There was a 3-disc set available, with the third disk being the 3D version of the movie, but I really didn't need it.

This is actually a replacement as my previous DVD was scratched. Of all the renditions of A Christmas Carol- this is my favorite. I found the movie to be captivating, well-edited and true to the storyline. Jim Carrey does a marvelous job playing the various characters as did the other actors. This is def my go-to movie not just for Xmas but throughout the year.

Even though this story has been told across a million different TV specials and movies, this is my favorite! I have enjoyed this movie from the first moment I saw it in theaters, so I am excited to finally own a copy.

What Robert Zemeckis did with Tom Hanks in The Polar Express he accomplished with Jim Carrey in A Christmas Carol using the magic of motion capture technology putting a fresh face on an old classic story.

I love Christmas movies and my kids watched it many times.

This Disney version is one of our favorite animated Christmas Carol stories. The voicing, animation, and storytelling make for an entertaining and compelling feature that we can watch over and over!

Here is a movie to entertain and delete the whole family kids will enjoy the retelling and reimagining of this great Christmas classic pick it up today you won’t be disappointed

This is a GREAT Christmas movie for all ages! Jim Carrey is simply AWESOME and the entire movie is one to cherish. You have really got to add this one to your movie collection!!

I freaking love this movie!!! Watched it every time I saw it on tv this year. I thought what the heck. I'm sick of commercials so I came and bought it! Definitely a best buy!

Had this movie on regular dvd, saw it on blu ray decided to buy for movie collection upgrade, would recommend for any one. Great movie for the holidays.

Another great rendition of the Christmas classic A Christmas Carol. Kind of scary in parts of the movie. Jim Carey, although animated, is GREAT.

I’ve liked the story A Christmas Carol Since I was little. I think I have every version and this one is just as fun as the rest. Jim Carry is a convincing Scrooge. Well done Disney.
