I was so glad to find this movie for family movie night.

Ok, so I avoided yet another Disney "A Christmas Carol" with comedian Jim Carrey as the role of Scrooge when it came out. I am not a giant fan of this style of animation either. However, I purchased the movie on the recommendation of a friend and was blown away! Aside from the animation, this version is the closest to the actual novel that I have seen. I actually opened up a copy of the book and found that the dialog was 80% accurate or better. The animation is really good and you can easily see the actor's personality through the animation. The effects were marvelous and seemed to capture the intent of Dickens' descriptions. Wow! A new favorite.

This was very nice. Very good animation. Good story. Good picture details. I liked it.

Highly recommend this film for all ages. This is nice remake of the story.
