Pretty cool for beginners getting into drones. Battery life is short, I personally realized I want a drone with longer life to cruise around in. If you want to go fast and do flips, this is the drone. But needs multiple batteries. Comes with safety features to return the drone home automatically. Comes with the motion controller, good for beginners but can't access manual mode with full dexterity and speed. Need to buy a $200 controller for that. Video quality and refresh rate on goggles is great. Con is the longstanding problem of DJI designing the default foam for only Eastern face shapes, they could have at least added in 2 or 3 different foam shapes in the box. I can't breathe through my nose with these on. Need to buy aftermarket foam. Also these goggles and the goggles 2 do NOT support analog video. so this will only work on DJI drones or a custom drone with a dji camera

The avata is very nice, I like how well I can cut through gaps with this drone I just hate that it isn’t as fast as my fpv. My fpv sounds like if bees could scream, this drone sounds like a horror movie that howls. The new goggles are nice, but I’m not a big fan that you can’t just swap batteries in the headset. I do appreciate they added free corrective eye lenses though. Head tracking cool. I love that Best Buy offers a replacement warranty if a major wrecks happens which I’ve been great at flying. I let my buddy try fpv for the first time and he managed to come down hit the grass the drone goes back up then somehow in sport mode decided it was going to double frontflips backwards qinto the tress and then mow its way through so much brush and ended up coming back out still flying which it decide to hover until I found it and sent it back home. I like that it has internal memory which caught the wreck but I hate it doesn’t have a microphone like the fpv Dji. I do like that if I record from my goggles I can get the hud display in the playback video to show people what it’s like flying. Drone probably deserves 4/5 but from best buy 5/5 all day

I received my order quickly and as a fairly new drone enthusiast I was all set. The motion controller is intuitive and responsive. The drone itself is very durable with an excellent camera that includes a wide range of settings to fit your needs. It is an excellent quality drone for a beginner as well advanced drone pilots. The learning curve isn't steep and there is no need for modifications or changes to the drone. I'm looking forward to may hours of flying.

As a filmmaker, I demand the highest quality from my equipment, and the DJI Avata Explorer Combo does not disappoint. The 8K camera delivers stunning footage with vibrant colors and incredible detail. The motion controller is a game-changer, allowing me to capture complex shots with ease. The drone's stability and range are impressive, giving me the freedom to explore creative angles and perspectives.

Fun and easy to fly. Everything's included in the package. No need to hook up to a phone or anything comes with tutorials definitely was suggest getting extra batteries cause this thing is so fun and it last for about 15 minutes and then you need to land and recharged. Takes about 40 minutes to recharge the battery.

The Avata has a couple flaws but it is so much fun and anyone can fly it. No experience needed. You can figure it out by yourself in 5 minutes and be flying catching 4 k video. It is like you are soaring like a bird in full hd. Get some extra batteries or flymore kit cause you will need it.

This has to be one of the funnest drone’s I’ve ever owned! The new goggles are amazing and the new motion control 2 is the best and so easy to use the one downside is now I have a radio that I’m never going to use lol. The videos are just crystal clear and smooth. 100% would recommend this to a beginner and a experienced drone pilot.

I have over twenty drones and this is my favorite. I have racing drones, mini drones and large drones. But this one is by far the most fun because of its ease of use and range.

Great for new flyers!! Feels like you’re flying! Easy set up and surprisingly easy to fly. Novice to advanced level pilots will enjoy. Waited for price drop when Avata 2 came out. Now that I’ve purchased the first one Im addicted! Ended up accessorizing and got a perfect case to fit from the Harbor! Grew up flying park flyers and missed it. This has really made me feel in the game again x10! Love it!

I was looking for a FPVI just didn’t want to build one. So went with DJi and search between their two FPV. Decided to get the Avata. This drone is fun. Super fast. Great FPV for a first time user.

Fun drone. Super fast. I have the Air 3, wanted a FPV and been looking at the DJI FPV. Watch many videos on YouTube on the pro and cons of Avata and the DJI FPV. Finally decided to go with the Avata.

This little drone is so much freakin fun! Motion controller is pretty cool too, feels like you’re controlling a fighter jet.

Ive been flying drones for over 10 years now but never got into the FPV world....This thing is AMAZING , Simple to fly and extremly fun to do so....From what ive seen so far after two weeks of use it is extremely durable also...The camera sytem is AWESOME with crystal clear transmission to the goggles....If your on the fence just do it,I dont think you will be disappointed....

Super fun drone! Bought this as a gift for my husband who had experience with the DJI Mavic 3, and he LOVES it! Being able to wear the goggles and use the control stick makes him feel like he is "inside" the drone.

I love this thing, the motion control is alot more intuitive than I would have thought. I wish I would've gotten the fly more kit with it, but the battery life is decent for the weight/speed of the craft

I LOVE this thing! So far, I've been out and about flying this and building up my FPV experience. THis is a great introduction to FPV drone flight!

Fun Drone, So far ... can't wait until I become a better pilot to be able to handle tighter and more precise flight! FUN!
