I bought the Mavic Pro Platinum about 3 months ago, after already having a much cheaper drone to try out first. I had never flown anything before, so I wanted to make sure that I was capable. Well, after owning the cheap drone for about a month, I decided to take the plunge. The Mavic Platinum turned out to be easier than my first drone and I was flying in non beginner after a couple of days. I bought it mainly for photography and I don’t race it around. I also live in wide open spaces, so there is not much danger in crashing into buildings, or trees. I do recommend this drone to others, but take your time to read the manual and before each flight, be aware of the area you will be flying in.

Been flying "cheap" drones for awhile, and decided to bite the bullet and upgrade to this. Lots of flight time,great 1440p and 4k pictures and videos. Lots of adjustments, and controls to make your videos shine. Suggestion...fly cheap ones for awhile before running out and dropping cash on this first. Also, learn to fly indoors with this, around objects, doorways and people...makes it much easier to control outdoors when you can fly in tight spaces. Overall a great option for those looking to get into cinematic flight.

Been looking at this drones for a least a year. Research all the top makers. This unit is amazing, great flight time, great pictures and video's and very easy to fly in beginner mode. Not much info in the manuals,but you need to watch any video you can find online to safely learn to fly these drones. Please realize this isn't really a child's toy. You have to be care and use caution on were you fly and how you fly it

Such a great joy to fly. This is a great second step drone user/ enthusiast aircraft. It is easy enough for a first time buyer, but I would recommend a lot of practive. The batteries are great, not crazy loud. It does prefer to have an apple product controlling it and doesn't get along with my android very well- but it's manageable. Great fly times, great video quality, easy to use and very portable.

Getting the Fly More Combo was definitely the way to go. Being able to fly and shoot video and having enough batteries to stay out in the field and capture that shot was awesome. I'm still amazed with how easy it is to fly and how stable the unit performs. I've had no issues with my purchase and finding tricks and tips to get the most out of my drone is easy online.

Excellent product. Simple to use, but loaded with a ton of features. Friend of mine has the Mavic Pro, the Mavic Platinum Pro is noticeably quieter when compared side by side. Definitely worth the extra $100. Also a must is to buy the Fly More Combo, the two extra batteries alone are worth it. Don't forget to buy the insurance from DJI, I have already used it.

Excellent Drone. Easy to fly. Hoover's in place when I let go of the controls. Easy home button brings the Drone right back to the same spot it launched from. Has a sport mode when you really want to fly fast but be careful and go high above the trees or buildings because all the sensors don't have time to work and you could hit a tree and fall and break.

I have had this drone for a long time. Since i had 4 batteries total i flew for 2 hours approximately straight amd the drone may have overheated causing it to crack. I had the best buy protection but i took months to get my drone back. Right the drone is having occasional gimbal issues. Definately a 4 star product way over priced. But this is the best you can get at the time. These do go out of date, do your research.

I bought this drone for my work and did as much research as I could. This was within our company's budget and had all the things we were looking for our drone to doe plus all the accessories we would need. We've been using this drone to take photos and videos of our site and construction and this little thing is a beast. The picture and video quality in 4K is awesome. It's really easy to learn and use and the app is great. I highly recommend this drone especially with the great bundle and price Best Buy was offering it for.

I love everything about this drone. The best speed, range, decibel level, and battery life combination of any drone I have ever owned. Good for beginners and professionals.

Great 4K quality pictures and video. Moves very fast and extremely accurate and very quiet compared to other drones. Love it

Excellent flight time......is exactly as advertised, 35 minutes and am finding time increases as the number of battery re-charges exceeds ten. Only concern is that the signal for controlling the drone seems to go out every so often and you have to wait until the signal returns which can be as long as 10 to 15 seconds all the while hoping the drone is hovering stationary and not crashing. Excellent pictures and video by the way

I researched drones for months before deciding to go with this one, the DJI Mavik Pro Platinum. This quality drone does not disappoint. I spent hours watching tutorial videos on YouTube and on the DJI website. I read all the manuals. I spent about 6 hours pouring over every setting and every control. Today I took my first flight. I flew two 26 minute flights in “Beginner” mode. After that, I was ready to turn beginner off. I flew two more flight in normal mode. I was very careful and very conservative in my flight movements. I’m happy to report zero issues and I’m so pleased with this purchase. Oh, and Best Buy beat every price I could find. Including Amazon. Great experience. Last word, before you activate your drone, make sure to go to the DJI website and register for DJI care. It’s much cheaper to buy it directly from DJI.

I purchased this drone in order to do some casual photography and video. It is exceptional. The performance is great. I purchased this primarily for it's significant noise reduction over other models, and for it's flight time. It excels in both of these categories. The fly more combo just makes it that much better.

I have not touched many of the features, but I am already in love with my drone. The way it flies makes me cry. It is platinum; it is a combo; buy it foo! I would have to say this is the nicest drone I have ever owned. The fly time is exceptional and it came with three batteries. The charge time is a lot faster then I would have thought. The camera is excellent and takes awesome pictures you couldn’t get with having a drone.

Very pleased with the ease of use and capabilities of this drone. Would highly recommend DJI products. Also had the chance to fly the new Mavic Air 2 recently, which is a great drone for the price. Really enjoyed the size of the pro platinum a bit more. Looking forward to the full sized 3 coming out.

Kit came with everything we needed. Easy setup and easy to operate. I use this to inspect my solar PV panels on my roof also use to scout out fishing grounds. It’s small compact size makes it easy bring anywhere. Awesome drone DJI is the best!

I have a Phantom 4 already and and this drone is a very good drone too. Size is great for traveling and portability is the key. If you need something portable and great quality this is your drone. Camera and specs is enough for normal people.
