Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love my OP, but when using it to record rehearsals it’s less than ideal since the mics are on the bottom or underneath the display. This adapter allows me to use an array of mics placed anywhere in front of the unit as long as they have a Tip Ring Sleeve (TRS) jack. The only downside is this uses the USB C connector underneath the Osmo, so you can’t couple the wireless adapter or even charge it while the mic adapter is being used. It’s a small sacrifice if you are looking for excellent recorded sound.

Works great with my wireless microphone. Definitely a must have!! Always get the official product. Ignore all the cheap knockoffs. If you're only paying $3 for the adapter, you're going to be disappointed!

Definitely a necessity for recording good audio

The shape of the adapter is quite unique to accommodate your finger in the little niche curve. The only thing that concerns me is that if you were to knock it somehow it could somehow damage the USB-C port, just be careful. I would give this five stars if the price was lower. Also with the wireless adapter, I wish there was a way to connect this to the wireless adapter, then I would give this 10 stars...

But, it works well, and if you want better sound, you need to get it.
