Excellent accessory.
||Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed.I love my OP, but when using it to record rehearsals it’s less than ideal since the mics are on the bottom or underneath the display. This adapter allows me to use an array of mics placed anywhere in front of the unit as long as they have a Tip Ring Sleeve (TRS) jack. The only downside is this uses the USB C connector underneath the Osmo, so you can’t couple the wireless adapter or even charge it while the mic adapter is being used. It’s a small sacrifice if you are looking for excellent recorded sound.

Definitely a necessity for recording good audio
||Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This is an absolute must to record good audio using a good external device such as a lavalier or shotgun mic. The shape of the adapter is quite unique to accommodate your finger in the little niche curve. The only thing that concerns me is that if you were to knock it somehow it could somehow damage the USB-C port, just be careful. I would give this five stars if the price was lower. Also with the wireless adapter, I wish there was a way to connect this to the wireless adapter, then I would give this 10 stars...

||Posted .Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.I been needing this adapter for my Osmo Mini. Works great with my wireless microphone. Definitely a must have!! Always get the official product. Ignore all the cheap knockoffs. If you're only paying $3 for the adapter, you're going to be disappointed!

Q: QuestionI’m trying to hook up a microphone to an iPhone 7. I’ve bought several mics and numerous adaptors. Nothing works. One mic is a TRS tip with the appropriate adaptor. The other mic is a TRRS MIC Hooke to the dongle. Still nothing. Both mics work on Android

- A:Answer This was designed for a specific camera, so I'm amazed it works with Android. As far as Apple, the key words to remember are "end to end control." By design, if it ain't made by Apple, it's not working with Apple.
