Great drone for the price. Technology is impressive but not perfect. User should be very familiar with all aspects of the drones functions since it's a matter of when, not if, something will go wrong and user has to act quick to avoid lost drone, damage or injury. User manual is lacking, but lots of online tutorials from users that help with the learning curve.

I did a lot of research prior to purchasing this drone. At first I going to get the Parrot Bebop 2 but then decided to return it and spend a little bit more to get a solid drone that would last me for some time. I would not recommend getting a cheap drone (as in sub $100-200 ones). You will outgrow them fast and honestly it's not necessary to learn how to fly those prior to flying the Phantom 3 SE( the Phantom 3SE is much easier to fly). In terms of purchasing a DJI Drone I would recommend this for beginners like myself. The range is improved compared to the standard/4K Phantom 3. Unfortunately, it doesn't have the lightbridge communication that the Phantom 4/Mavik lineup have but I did not have any issues flying this drone at my parents home (they live in the suburbs).

I purchased the DJI 3SE to perform roof inspections on my rental properties. Super easy to fly and control. Takes great pics and video. The DJI-GO app takes some time to learn how to use, because the app can do so many things. The app is kinda complicated and no detailed user manuals. This review is of the drone, not the app. The drone is great, I see the potential of the app, just haven't learned it all yet.

This drone has been fantastic so far. I have logged around 15 hours with it and can say that so far, it has exceeded my expectations. The camera quality is fantastic. I can also say that the durability is very high. I have had a few crash landings (completely my fault) and have been shocked to see it have no damage. It is super easy to fly as well.

I was looking for something to take pictures some closeup pics of wildlife on my property and this is by far the most fun way to interact with them. They seem to be curious about the drone more than fear it. Lots of fun.

So much fun. More power then i thought it was going to have, much more durable then i thought, very responsive controls, i get around 11-13 minutes of flight time, doesn't sound like much but this thing can cover a lot of ground in that time.

The drone is fun to use and can get unique vantage points. The 4K is at 30fps max which is still good for the price point. You have to register and fly safely. Since I live in a large city it’s hard to find good places to launch without driving far outside the city. The customer service was also very good. I had to reach out when I could not register my drone. They helped me quickly to get my care plan on the drone. Care is a must! It will replace the drone for the first year even when damaged.

This drone performs well, has excellent camera and range for the money.

I found this easy to use and navigate. Camera is very clear and takes great dusk shots. Has many new features that the orig model didn't have.

This is my 2nd drone and an upgrade from my bebop. The 4K Camera takes great photos and video. The DJI app is easy to use for flying the drone. Recommend getting an extra battery or two if you want longer flying time.

Love the drone, it's a great combination of tech for an affordable price. I wish it came with the formed foam insert in the box, but it's okay, just plan on buying a bag or case to fit the drone and accessories.

Easy to fly and powerful. Smooth video in HD and great for high res stills but need to practice still photography more than video with it to get good results - invest in filters
