The story may be cheesy, the secondary characters not pristine, but BOY OH BOY, is the gameplay wonderful. Battle is always exciting, great combo moves, great learning curves, etc. This was my first Devil May Cry game, so I wasn't tied to white-haired-Dante nostalgia. Cycling through weapons is very easy (holding down the trigger buttons), and makes for great combo opportunities utilizing several different weapons at once. Great game, great buy.

This is a solidly built action game. It has a basic plot, decent graphics, and a nice learning curve. For fans of the original games, the characterization of the main characters will throw them for a 360. Dante is no longer the cool gunslinger. He is young and reckless. Expect to hear lots of cursing and generally seeing Dante acting annoying at times. Otherwise, it had more of the same cool weapons, levels, and bad guys. Dante uses swords, axes, guns, etc. Other than interrupting weak enemies movements, his guns can stay in their holsters. They do practically no damage (all his guns but one). The game has lots of little sidequests that increases its playability. The music did not stand out but everything else was what you would come to expect from the DMC universe.

Great game with a fast pace action and great visuals especially for being ps3 and an older game.

Dmc is a great game, keeps you hooked and wanting more the the abilities and combos.

Great storyline, and lots of fun. Graphics are awesome, but sound often goes out when connected to the 5.1, nothing too bad but a bit annoying at times.

I've enjoyed past Devil May Cry titles, too. This one is quite fun! You should try it!

I thought this was going to be a horrible reboot because of the new character and the way games have been getting more casual and easier to play. I was totally wrong. This is the same great Devil May Cry action for the next generation. Must Buy game!

I know nothing about this game. My son thinks this game is a terrific game. He is the game player in this house. He loves it.

This game disk failed to start. I tried to reduce one star if I didn't have a refund.

I purchase the game and when I got home the disk was damage and I couldn't play the game.
