Excellent Christmas Special with the latest Doctor

"Last Christmas" is Peter Capaldi's first Christmas special as the current Doctor on Doctor Who. It's very creepy at times, but also a lot of fun. Nick Frost plays Santa Claus. (Sort of "St. Nick Frost.") There are creatures that are inspired by the "face huggers" from the Alien films, which may be too intense for young children - which is sort of odd for a Christmas special. I enjoyed it.

This Christmas special is the one that played at the end of the eighth series. It was well written and paid homage to many classic sci-fi stories. It was definitely a new and pleasant twist as far as the Christmas specials go. Definitely worth the price of admission.

The Doctor Who Christmas specials are a tradition in the UK and Peter Capaldi carries it on very well. He is a darker Doctor but that does not mean that it's all doom and gloom. It is after all Christmas. Lots of fun to see the Doctor riding in Santa's sleigh-You will believe in Santa.

Doctor Who keeps getting better as the show progresses and the Christmas specials always are a treat. Best present to get if you are a WHOVIAN. Seeing the good Doctor and Santa team up against aliens is awesome. Can't wait to see how they will top this next holiday season.

This Special just as Season 8 was, is by far the darkest of them yet. Typically the Christmas Specials offer feel good endings and whay have you. This one however doesn't really do that. Either way though this is still a must have for a Doctor Who collector.

the disc worked fine after I obtained a firmware update for my Blu-ray player. It might have been a different story if I hadn't had this problem a while back with a Disney disc.

I love Doctor Who and this a great addition to the collection. I'm very happy Best Buy had it on Bluray Disc, it was hard to find anywhere else in store. If you enjoy Doctor Who you should love this Christmas special!

Last Christmas is the best Dr. Who Christmas special in years. It's funny, suspenseful, and answers some important questions from the season 8 finale. A must -have for any Whovian.

It's a story about dreams within dreams within dreams and the way it's presented draws you in and keeps you there as you go along for the ride! And Santa Clause is a badass..

The episode is a bit disjointed. Was slated to be Jenna Coleman's exit but she changed her mind and they changed the ending. Would have been a brilliant swan song but becomes a cheap fake-out. Can't see how they'll top it when she does eventually leave.

Another classic Doctor Who Christmas special. What's real, what's a dream? This is what the Doctor must find out. A great cast and great acting make this worth watching.

One of the better Christmas stories. Not as scripted and predictable as the previous Christmas special that was Matt Smith's swan song. Capaldi is a terrific actor.

I always love the Christmas specials. Something significant always happens, usually leading into the next season's events. Looks and sounds great on blu-ray too.

The 12'th Doctor's first Christmas special is a dreamy weamy adventure. What's real? What's not? Just ask Santa -- with a little help from The Doctor.

This is a very good Christmas episode of dr who. I can see glimmer of the other doctors and new/different attributes from the current doctor.

This was a very fun story, and just like you'd expect from Doctor Who, nothing is as it seems.
