We haven't missed a season of this show. Love it..

My Doctor Who fan enjoyed this addition to the video library. He watches it over and over.

I tend to buy every christmas special when they are released because they tend to come with something special that is forgoten later. Not this time. This release is as batre bones as they come. Nice slipcase but with the recycle case (holes in case) and lack of features I was horribly disappointed!

My son loves Doctor Who and this was the perfect gift for him.

Got this as a gift for a Dr Who fan. He really enjoyed it.

if you are a Doctor Who fan then this set is a must!

It is Christmas and it is a Doctor Who Special, so you know you want to watch it. I would not say that it is one of the best Christmas episodes, but certainly not the worst. It answers some questions left over from the previous series.

Being a big Nick Frost fan I had high hopes for his appearance and while it wasn't bad the episode was just an average episode.

Peter Capaldi is finding his direction as the Doctor. Hopefully Moffet will have some better material for him next season.

This DVD was just okay. This was not a thrilling episode to watch. It didn't have the best plot.

Doctor Who is known for its Christmas specials and this is the first one featuring 12th Doctor Peter Capaldi in full (we saw him for a few seconds after 11th Doctor Matt Smith regenerated in 2013's "The Time of The Doctor"). This one features Santa Claus as well as the guy who plays Strax as one of the two elves. It's spooky, it's surprising and, at times, it is touching. If you collect Doctor Who on Blu-ray, you'll need this for your collection.

Doctor Who is a show that fluctuates between so many tones and styles that if you've made it this far along in the show's chronology, this will be a welcome addition to your collection. If you're new to the show, this might not be the best entry point, but it still has a lot of accessible and entertaining moments inherent in this episode's premise; all in all a fantastic special.

Typical Dr. Who disc compilation - recommended for all Dr. Who fans.
