I got this for my 13 year ol daughter. She loves it. We got nonbluray to play on long car rides.

The doctor is in. I must admit I wasn't originally a fan until my son got me into this series. It is absolutely wonderful entertainment and can be view by the entire family (unlike so many other shows on TV today). Three cheers for Peter Capaldi, now i if i can only keep track of which # doctor we are on now.....

Peter Capaldi represents the true qualities and spirit of the character of the Doctor. If you're familiar with the classic series, you won't be disappointed with his performance. I would describe him as a mixture of William Hartnell and Jon Pertwee, somewhat cratchety yet warm and dashing.

I enjoy Dr Who consistently. The episodes are always interesting and stimulating to the imagination. I like the current Doctor and Companion even though I hear they are going on hiatus. It's always a good way to kick back and know you can enjoy a good program.

While some may complain, Capaldi has truly shined this past season as the Doctor. Between his war speech in the Zygon duology to carrying an entire episode as the only speaking character, he has done things that other Doctors have not this season.

i'm such a whovian that i don't care who the doctor is. i appreciate all of their uniquenesses. as a matter of fact, if they were all the same it'd be boring. the beauty of it is that you know the doctor has to change and i welcome it.

Another good season of Doctor Who. Excellent picture and sound. Liked the story of Jenna Coleman being killed off with an open story for her possible return in the future. Wish that she had not left the show.

I love Doctor Who and have been a whovian for quite a lot of years. Some don't like how mean the 12th Doctor is, but I simply love him!! Great first half to the season!

This is one of the better seasons of Doctor Who overall. It shows great emotion for a team that has been through a lot and what they are willing to do for each other. My only complaint is that on the last disc there was a minor scratch that made an episode skip about 10 minutes, so I will exchange this soon but overall it was a great show!

Was unsure I would like Peter as the new doctor-but he is good and the stories as always are so well written-any Whovian will enjoy this addition to their library.

peter capaldi is back for a second tiem around with more monsters and bad guys some epsiodes where great some not so great but over all a great series

Gotta love the Salt and Pepper shakers, equipped with,an egg beater, and toilet plunger, as most of us know they are the arch enemy,of the Doctor.

Peter Capaldi IS the Doctor, as evidenced by his fantastic performance this season. Highly recommended for Doctor Who fans new and old!

This is Part 2 of Series 9. At first, I didn't care for the newest Dr. Who, but he kind of grows on you. This is a definite need to buy.

season nine of Doctor Who is very good- I do however admit I miss Matt Smith I feel Peter Capaldi has found his niche though

The doctor takes a while to get used to, he is different from the other doctors. Great Video family loved it!

Bought this for a Whovian for her birthday. Capaldi isn't her favorite but she was happy to have the gift

We don't get BBC America, but that's ok because the kids want to watch the episodes over and over again
