20 episodes. Good price for five Dr. Who stories on Blu-ray.

It took a long time to find this set, now if only they deliver with the rest of the Tom Baker series. Tom Baker is one of the best Doctors of the 12. Yes, I know there's 13 but I don't count the newest one This program has been on since 1964 and has always been good with a few exceptions ... Tom Baker is not one of them.

This is the Doctor that all aspire to. And of course the ultimate companion the Doctor’s best friend K9! The cheap sfx show up a bit but the stories are all classic. Tom Baker defined the quirky Doctor. Looking forward to getting the rest of the Baker seasons eventually.

Having seen Tom Baker's Dr. Who originally on tv and then VHS tapes, I was pleasantly surprised how good this version looks. The bonus features are extensive, more than enough to satisfy a fan. Don't hesitate to get this set of classic Dr. Who. I can't wait for the other series of his shows.

I used to watch the Tom Baker Dr Who episodes back in the late 70's and early 80's. Good shows for the times, although they look hopelessly cheesy now. Still fun to see them again after 40 years. The sound & picture quality on the DVD's is excellent.

Disks are packed with decent extras, quality is obviously only as good as the 1970's TV originals, but that is fine, they are what they are. I started watching Jon Pertwee, then Tom Baker, so these are my two favourites, with Tom being the all time #1 so this new set is brilliant.

Tom Baker is arguably the best Doctor from the original series. It's great to see these getting some high def treatment. Granted, the source material is not exactly stellar to begin with, but this is still worth the purchase for any Whovian.

If you watched Tom Baker on PBS in Doctor Who in the 1970s during first run you will now see what you missed-video quality and subtitles. Plus you can binge all parts of an episode in one sitting instead of waiting a week for the next installment on Saturday like before.

I really hope this is the beginning of BBC putting out these sets for each Doctor. This is a must own for any fan of Doctor Who or someone who is curious about the series before the current reboot. I can't recommend this enough.

Great sound, good picture. Wish we got they booklet The I’m got. Also a shame the Genesis of the Daleks Omnibus didn’t receive remastered sound, but the picture does get better over the course of the episode. Bring season 2 please!

Loved the first season of Tom Baker as the Doctor. The stories are action packed and suspenseful. Love the companions of Sarah Jane Smith and Harry Sullivan. Great introduction of the Fourth Doctor.

Though the Tom Baker complete season had only 20 episodes and 5 full story-lines, every modern Doctor Who fan will have to buy the Tom Baker years. His years seemed more child-like, and earned their "children's show" appeal in old days that some think WHO doesn't have anymore. Kids will enjoy it, who dislike modern WHO for confused story-lines, and "political correct" homosexual characters, etc. In the end, classic appeal for WHO fans, young and old, and more youth friendly than modern series.

This set remind me of my childhood. You never forget your first Doctor. This season does a lot of foreshoring of things to come. The extra in the season let you see how they put a great show on with a vert tight budget.

They say you can tell a person's age by their Favorite Doctor . . . Tom Baker is mine by far . It's amazing what BBC can do with their "Special" effect efforts just makes it more fun to watch . Welcome to my universe .

The Tom Baker set was great. The jewel is the 90 minute HD version of Genesis of the Daleks, it trims the fat nicely without being too bare like the 80's LP was.

Each disc has each story arc and is easy to track and follow. The video quality is good. Although high definition was not available back then, the image quality is still well.

Presented in a serial format, these five stories told over 20 episodes introduces Tom Baker as the 4th Doctor, an alien who can change bodies (regenerate) when near death.

I've seen previous sets that only focused on one or two stories. It is great to finally have a collection...cant wait for the next "seasons" and to see other classic Doctors (but Baker was still the best!)

I'm in a bit over my head when it comes to Dr. Who, but my son has very exacting requirements as to what constitutes the Doctor. He's enjoying this gift very much.

For those who love old school Doctor Who, this is a must for any collection. Tom Baker is my husband's favorite of all the Doctor's, and this was the perfect gift for him.
