The first season of the Fourth Doctors run has many great episodes. The sound is clear, and the picture quality, while not perfect, is far, far better than I expected from 70's Who.

Well first off I am glad that some of the episodes to the classic series are being re-released. This gives newbies a chance to see the classic episodes first hand. There is 20 episodes to this set. Including one of my favorites Genesis of the Daleks. I will say this once you start you don't wanna press that stop button. I truly hope more episodes of the classic series get released. Including ones from the first Doctor.

I'm glad they are starting to do full seasons rather than just individual episodes or series. Makes much more sense and is much cheaper. A must have for a true Doctor Who fan.

The First Doctor I saw, from Doctor Who and still my favorite! I love these episodes! A great bargain, considering how many episodes and that it is now on BluRay!

Finally the first season of Tom Baker is on Bluray and he looks glorious!! Sharp picture and updated effects make for a viewing delight!

I am not an A/V aficionado so all the comments about minute sound and video intricacies mean next to nothing to me. This product allowed me to conveniently watch several classic Doctor Who serials from the comfort of my couch. There are some iconic moments in this season. Quality special features. I was satisfied.

I really like the quality of the blue ray edition. I never thought I would ever get to see the old Tom Baker series in blue ray!!! It looks really great!

A must have for any Doctor Who fan, especially Tom Baker fans. The extras are worth it, but the clean up done on the episodes also make it worth purchasing.

With the quality of the old Doctor Who series, going to hi def is not helpful. But the Blu ray set takes up about 1/4 of the shelf space of the 5 DVDs.

Tom Baker always my favorite never looked better! Use to watch on pbs years ago on old crt tv. Wow what a difference!

This bluray brought me back 30 years ago when I first saw these on PBS. Quality awesome especially the commentary. Worth every penny
