Nintendo really knows how yo make fun games that hold your attention. DK Bonanza is no different. It’s definitely a different DK experince that borrows from Zelda and Mario games. But makes then uniquely DK. I cant recommend it enough even if you are not a hug DK fan. My only gripe is the camera can get lost when you are smashing your way through the terrain.

Awesome platformer that rewards you for doing things your own way, and not just following the directed route. Yes, there’s a lot of smashing in this game. No, it doesn’t get boring. The gameplay is fantastic. The graphics are gorgeous. The story is the best I’ve seen in a Nintendo game. Is it worth buying a Switch 2? Maybe not, but it was for me.

Donkey Kong Bonanza is an absolute blast from start to finish! Whether you’re a lifelong fan of the classic Donkey Kong series or brand new to the fun, this is pure entertainment at its best. Everything about it is vibrant, exciting, and full of energy. The atmosphere pulls you right in, the gameplay is smooth, and there’s a perfect balance of challenge and fun that keeps you hooked. It’s nostalgic while still feeling fresh and modern, which is no easy task. I found myself smiling the whole time and didn’t want it to end. So much to do and destroy. It took me 45 minutes to get out of the tutorial because I was testing all the capabilities and moves. The game looks great and plays great. The music is awesome. And I truly enjoy all the puzzles and item collecting. That being said, the game is a little too easy but that also makes it more fun.

It is super fun to destroy everything. The game controls excellently, has a nice graphics and a fun story. This is made by the same team that did a Super Mario Odyssey, so if you like that game you would like this game!

If you're familiar with the Marioverse you probably have played the games of Super Mario and Donkey Kong. And if you've played them, you have a head start into the world of Donkey Kong Bananza! Kong is back and he's ready to go ape, finding banadium gems, gold and other nifty things to get you toward the goal of beating the baddies... Plus there's lots of chances to jump, punch, grind and throw stuff, which is as satisfying as you can imagine! Sometimes you'll get lost in the worlds, but don't worry and just keep punching stuff! The fun never ends!

Nothing to dislike, this game keeps you hooked. Im just smashing and smashing sway trying to unlock or collect as mych as i can but the game runs smooth good story

I had high hopes for this game and it far exceeded any expectation I had. Donkey Kong Bananza is one of the best games that I have ever played. It is so creative that I am surprised no game has ever been made like it before. I bought my Switch 2 on the second day it came out and if this was the only Switch 2 exclusive game I would say the console upgrade was worth it. I cannot recall a game being this good in many years. This game is fantastic and I highly recommend it for anyone who has a Switch 2.

Lots of action and great level design! The music and graphics really bring back the classic Donkey Kong vibe. Super fun to play on Switch 2!

Pretty much everything about the game was amazing. The graphics, gameplay, story, as well as the references to series history all made playing through an absolute blast. Only problem was a few frame drops here and there, but they were mostly intrusive.

Fantastic game, I never played any of the other Donkey Kong games. But I loved Super Mario Odyssey. This is a true successor and the game is SO huge! Smooth gameplay, funny moments & just overall so fun!

This game was great I love this new game for donkey Kong and it makes me super happy for the future of 3d platformers on the switch 2

Really fun entry into the Donkey Kong franchise. The game controls really well and the visuals are bright and fun. No issues running it on the Switch 2.

In any other generation by any other developer, this would have been a tech demo. Instead Nintendo managed to make a 3D platformer based entirely around terrain destruction and made it work wonderfully. The game itself was made by the same team that created Super Mario Odyssey, and you can tell. The whole thing oozes quality and is polished until it shines like a (banana) gem. Cannot recommend enough. This is a must-have if you've got a Switch 2.

Yeah this game is amazing. A lot of people will get caught up on the terrain destruction, and DKs redesign (I'm still not over it myself). This game has so much interesting techniques for skilled players, and also has good work arounds for less skilled players. I never felt like I was messing up a puzzle or challenge like I would in the BotW/TotK Zelda games puzzle sections if I skipped something or brute forced it.

Overdue thoughts, but what I've played of this game (one of many I need to get back to) has been very fun. Super Mario Odyssey crossed with Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction. Only time the performance slowed down for me was an extended boss fight at (what I assume to be) the haofway point with a lot of stuff flying across the screen. Otherwise, it's using the power of the Switch 2 well.

Such an amazing game, specially for the switch 2 as it runs pretty smooth and the story is engaging.

This game is a real testament to the care Nintendo puts in to its IPs. It’s just constant fun and looks amazing.

Great product fun to play and use easy to access new levels time consuming

I thought gameplay would get repetitive but this game is so much fun from start to finish. Art style is gorgeous and gameplay is highly addictive.
