    It’s a blast. Playing on Nightmare the first time through, I wouldn’t recommend this, death is almost eternal at times on this setting. The download size is shocking small by comparison to other games in the past few years. Once booted up and slaying it is understandable how they achieved this. The game is linear. Very little exploring and not very wide. The graphics are exceptional the field of view depth goes on forever, however the player can only move an average of a couple hundred feet at any given time, the distant eye candy is only visual, not playable. This is not a loot game or an exploration game. It reminds me of the first time I booted up Unreal Tournament way back in the Win 98 days, never stop moving and kill everything in site. Pure joy and fun. It’s hard to put down once I start. Running on a RTX 2080 Ultra at 1440P at 144 hz on Ultra Nightmare settings. FPS is not an issue. Lock and load, you’ll love it.

    this is such a good game for any doom fan. highly recommend it for single player, can't say much about multiplayer.

    They should fix the email so it doesn't say its a steam code cause it really a code for the Bethesda Launcher. Still a good game but that code redemption process leaves to be desired
