I don't have much regard for DC comics and don't subscribe to its streaming service, but I enjoy its television shows on the CW network. I gambled that some of the reviews I read about this show were enough to justify enough interest and investment in this series...and I was right. If you're into comparisons, this show is the Warner Brothers/DC counterpart to the Fox/Marvel show 'Legion.' Both are off the rails, weird, strange, crazy, trippy...and compelling. Neither is a standard show about metahumans, nor are they identical mirrors of each other. Each is refreshing in its own right, in an apples-and-oranges way. It's hard for shows like this to be successful because of their asymmetry to the more standard, formulaic fare on TV. However, critics and viewing public alike appear to rate this show favorably, and I agree with both. If you're looking for superhero series that dares to be different, this is a good one to watch.

"The Doom Patrol" DC Universe television show is an entertaining and imaginative new series from the DC Universe streaming service. I purchased the series on DVD and I it is a series that is a must watch!!!! The show is derived from the DC comic book of the same name. We are introduced to a team of traumatized superheroes who have come together under the leadership of The Chief. The fifteen episodes in the series are thrilling, dramatic, comedic and thought provoking. Robotman Aka Cliff Steele, Negative Man, Elasti-Girl, Crazy Jane, Cyborg and Rita are characters you come to empathize with as you watch the show. The supervillain of the show, Mr Nobody, is a very original and fascinating character. This is a highly recommended DC Universe show!!!! My wife Rachel and I Love it!!!!

When I first saw pictures of the characters it look very cheesy but do not judge a book of it cover because this show in motion has heart and a true underrated gem when I watch it on the dc universe for the first. I love this show and became my favorite live action superhero show all time. I glad they released it on blue-ray so I can watch all the craziness this show has to offer without worry about steaming dc universe. It one of the best early birthday gifts I recieve. If you are a superhero fans that like weird crazy stuff this show is right for you.

The DC Universe original series through their streaming service continues to impress. Next to Swamp Thing, Doom Patrol is easily the second best live-action series on the platform boasting incredible acting talent, compelling stories, and dynamic characters. This set includes about an hour or so of special features highlighting the characters and making of the series as well as a gag reel. Much like Titans Season 1, this is a fairly bare bones release, but worth purchasing if you don’t subscribe the DC Universe streaming service.

This show is wild, wacky, insane, weird, trippy, strange, odd and I could go on. They're the world's strangest heroes but the most human of all. This show is well written with great characters on really weird adventures. The acting is out of the world great. There's a lot of great comic book shows on tv right now but most of them feel the same as the others. If you want something new and different check out Doom Patrol.

I gotta say I love how DC is not afraid to explore the vast corners of their universe. Each character in this show is uniquely different then many of the other superhero shows out there. Diane Guerrero is deff the star here as she portrays crazy jane who has 64 different personalities. I'm halfway done with the first season and cant wait to see where the story goes.

I did not even know this even existed until I did my usual Tuesday DVD shopping. The cover caught my attention, I read the description on the back and purchased it. I was surprised at how good it was. I does seem little slow in action at times but over all it is a good watch. I would recommend this, especially for DC fan.

Doom Patrol has the most complicated and interesting characters of any superhero show you will find on tv! I'm surprised that the show doesn't get more attention. This is probably because it's on DC's streaming service, but comic fans should give it a try because it's innovative and exciting.

This is a pretty good show. Pity, from what I understand, it will only have this one season. Still, it has a little bit of everything. Its funny, sad and very dramatic. The special effects are good for a tv show. The bluray looks great. Overall, I was very happy with my purchase.

The best DC comics super hero series ever that almost nobody saw. Definitely not for the kiddies. This is the best series that the Berlanti verse has ever produced. Fantastic presentation on Blu-ray spread across 3 discs. If you are a fan of the hero noir genre this is a must buy.

While this isn't the typical super hero show most are used to watching, it is an extremely fun and entertaining show. The concept of the team is a little zany but with the great cast selection you can't wait to see what happens with each episode.

It's very nice to see that DC is catching up to Marvel with it's characters stories and series. I hope this starts to translate to the big screen as well. It was a very enjoyable watch, and was certainly glad that I made the purchase.

The whole thing is just a little different. They are not your typical tv heroes. Their powers are almost useless. It is the struggle that each one faces daily that made this series so interesting to me. I do recommend giving this a look. I enjoyed it.

This show, based on the DC comics superhero team that inhabits the odd and weird corner of the DC Universe, doesn't disappoint. Warning: Some of the language won't be suitable for children. Consider this to be an adult TV program.

Exceeded my expectations for a typical superhero show. The DC studio allowed the creators to have full creative control and unleashed a one of a kind world, filled with heartfelt characters and great performances all around.

Set after the events of TITANS, the Doom Patrol – consisting of Robotman, Negative Man, Elasti-Woman, and Crazy Jane, and led by Dr. Niles Caulder / Chief – receive a mission from Cyborg that they cannot ignore and will change their lives.

ZM If you're not hook to this show after episode 1 then it's probably not for you because it only gets crazier & weirder as the show continues but in all the best ways. P.s. Brendan Fraser is the MVP in every episode

I watched the boys and the umbrella Academy before this and had my doubts at 1st and now I regret not watching it a lot sooner, a great series can't wait for it to continue

I had the chance to see this on DCUNIVERSE but it Its so good I had to own it. From beginning to the end lit was a great show. Can’t wait for season two!

Pretty good show for the DC network. Very happy that these shows are getting blu-ray releases and not just staying streaming like the marvel netflix shows
