This goes back to the styling is the first 2 Doom games. Perfect from start to finish. Worth playing each level a few times just for the secrets and the collectibles that you can find. And the soundtrack is amazing!!!

This game is awesome! I used to play the doom game on the computer but the ps4 game is great!! Story line and grafics amazing!

If you want an experience that hearkens back to the fast-paced, adrenaline charged run-n-gun action of the original 1993 Doom, look no further. This is the Doom sequel/reboot we've been waiting for. I played the multiplayer open beta, and was not impressed, but the single player campaign is totally worth it and redeems this games in spades. Why are you still reading this? Get a copy, grab your boomstick, and let the hordes of Heck have it! (had to censor the last line there, thanks Best Buy :-P)

This reboot offers an absolutely superb first person shooter experience. There are plenty of guns and monsters to keep you busy while trying to free Mars from the invasion of demons from Helll. The action is fast paced, gory and epic. 10+ hours of campaign with replay ability being a big part of the game. Multiplayer is kind of lackluster but that's not why you buy this game. You buy it for the hidden secrets, challenges and for the simple pleasure of pulverizing demons from Helll.

If you like the original Doom and Doom 2, than you will love Doom 2016. The game-play is solid and the fast paced action is a lot of fun. I had a blast playing this game. Furthermore, in 2018 the game is cheap and you can find most copies for around $20 or under. The only issue I had was the motion blur is enabled right off the start. I would recommend turning this setting down or completely off to enjoy the game better.

This is one of the finest first person shooters I've ever played. I highly recommend it in every way. If you prefer downloading games like I do, you don't need to buy a boxed copy of this. All that comes in the box is the game, a flimsy instruction manual, and a code for multiplayer content. The multiplayer mode in this game is not great; you're buying this for the single player. But if you have Best Buy Gamers Club Unlocked you can get a nice discount on the disc!

fun game great graphics but it is a bit repetitive. i also found i was getting lost and would wander around the level. otherwise great game.

I had my doubt when I first started but things got really crazy and upbeat after few hours. Had great time blasting over several demons. Great guns, ammunitions and options. I liked the retro Doom secrets.. Getting all the secrets are hard though in every level. Fun part is the finishing melee.. You wouldnt regret it. Go ahead and give it a try. They tried to keep it simple and didnt mess around with the game giving great graphics but poor gameplay.

I loved this game. Bethesda has outdone themselves again. I played the original Doom on pc that had a 66 Mhz cpu with a generic Intel vcard ! I didn't eat or sleep for a solid week. Today systems and the advancement of vcards, cpu's, gpu's, and monitors have really been awesome to watch. This game brings back all of those emotions for me and more. The multi player is a lot of fun like Quake and UT were back in the day. Ahhhhhhh Bethesda.

Doom has to be one of the best overall games that came out in 2016. For any fan of first person shooters, Doom is an intense romp through Mars that never stops. It takes run and gun to a new level. Level design is akin to old school arena matches but flawlessly meshes with a single player level design aesthetic.For any fan of run and gun shooters or first person shooters in general this is as fun as they get. A must buy!

I got this as a gift for my step-dad, who has always loved doom games. This game was on sale for a really good price so I snagged it. I’ve heard good things about the gameplay

The Godfather of first person shooters received an updated makeover, and it's for the better. Doom retains the tone and fundamental gameplay of the original way back in the early 90's, but with improved graphics (obviously) and more streamlined shooting, this is a terrific reboot of the Doom series. The story is lacking, but what do you expect from a Doom game? I can't wait for the sequel this game.

it kind of felt like i was playing Halo on my PS4. but the game was very fast-paced and action-packed.

and i played doom 3 in college because hellyeah am I RIGHT!? LOL I haven't played this one very much (at all) and I'm going to go ahead and say it's amazing because DOOM!
