Have to say the game played great, but wasn't the best of the series. Needed a better story.

Look I don't care what they said in the months I've had this game it helped me through the horrible presidency. It helped me a lot of ways and this game was a lot of fun sure it's not the dragon age game I expected but it's fun

This game is very entertaining and a blast to play. It just isn't a proper Dragon Age, at least not in the vein of Dragon Age: Origins. If you go in with that expectation you will be disappointed, but when they have done here is basically merged design elements and the production quality of the God of War series into the Dragon Age universe.
If that sounds interesting to you, and you won't be put off with the lack of freedom (similar to God of War) you have a good chance to like this game.

Dragon Age: Veilguard is a solid but uneven entry in the series that left me feeling a bit mixed overall. The characters are engaging and the world-building is as rich as ever, but the pacing drags in places and the combat, while flashy, sometimes feels more style than substance. There are definitely moments where the story shines and reminds me why I love Dragon Age, but some clunky dialogue choices and technical hiccups pulled me out of the immersion. It’s not a bad game by any means—fans will find things to enjoy—but it doesn’t quite reach the heights I was hoping for, landing it at a comfortable 3 out of 5.

Quite different from the previous Dragon Age games, but mostly in a good way! It reminds me more of the Mass Effect-style in terms of gameplay - easier to pick-up, etc.

Picked it up on sale while I was in store for other stuff. Got it home, installed without issue, and it looks amazing. Just need to find the time between everything else to play it more! LOL

The game is pretty good. If you played mass effect 2 and dragon age 2 then imagine mixing those games. The character building and interactions are a scaled back version of DA2 with repetitive returns to the same areas. The character in this game are also worst written across DA and ME. Combat is solid but becomes repiritve. Similar to ME2 the end is one of nightlights and well done. This is Not a game that should’ve taken 10years.

The game is a great RPG. The story is good. It soes touch on some subjects that some may be bothered by, but im only concerened about playing a good game. The main issue i had with it is it doesnt resemble the older dragon age games much, in my opinion at least. The tone and the art style are very different, not bad, just not what i was expecting from a DA game. All in all a very good game thought

The game has good action in it, though the controls are meh.
If you're a dragon age lover, you'll either love or hate the story.
I think a lot of the characters just turn into yes men. I will continue playing it to finish but I doubt I pick it up again after that.
Objectively, this games reviews will suffer because the lore and world building isn't up to par with the rest of the series
