This an great beat em up game.....especially if you love DBZ Anime!!!

this game is a fast paced tag team better. it gives the most intense fight and continuous battling. gameplay is like the anime. however, the game can get frustrating when you fight against experienced players. this game is all about offensive. being defensive wont really save you. buy it on sale cause you will need to buy the season pass to unlock all characters

Dragon Ball as a series has always forefronted epic battles. In each episode of the cartoon, godlike warriors transformed the landscape in fantastic one-on-one fights with ease. In FighterZ, anyone can feel like that in any fight. I’ve been waiting for a Dragon Ball game like this ever since I first saw the cartoon in grade school, and I’m so happy this day has come.

Graphics: 10/10 Game play: 8/10 Story Mode: 5/10 Content: 8/10 What makes this game special is not the fact that the developers actually understood the source material but that the game is simple enough for someone who doesn't play fighting games to participate and play vs those who want to learn every frames and combos in the game.

This game is phenomenal! Arc System Works have outdone themselves.It's the best representation of Dragon Ball I've ever seen. It can be very frantic at times, but with practice you'll start to get the hang of it. I highly recommend it for Dragon Ball fans and Capcom/Marvel [VS series] fans.

This is a great fighting game for fighting game fans, fans of the Dragonball series or both! Easy to pick up and play, yet tough to master. Graphics are great with anime style cutscenes and presentation, audio is top notch, and the gameplay is solid! Do yourself a favor and pick this game up if you love Dragonbal or just love fighting games in general!

Dragon Ball FighterZ is a departure from the previous DBZ fighting games. DBFZ is a 2D fighter, which takes aspects from some previous games by developer ArcSys like BlazBlue and Guilty Gear, along with some aspects from Capcom's Marvel vs. Capcom series. The game features a story mode which is a bit too long and bland, and it will probably feel like a grind to get through. However, beating this mode unlocks a character, so many players will stick it out for that reason alone. Being a fighting game, multiplayer is the mode that most players will be spending the majority of their time with. Overall, the fighting engine is pretty fun, but unfortunately there are some glaring issues with online play. First, connections just drop randomly sometimes, which immediately ends the match. Also, there is no real punishment for "ragequitting" in this game, so you'll inevitably end up being cheated out of some wins in ranked mode due to this. DBZF is a fun game overall. If the online issues I listed above were not present, I'd likely rate the game 4 out of 5 stars. Hopefully one day the developers will address those issues; however, being that I'm writing this review a couple of months after release and that hasn't happened yet, I'm not hopeful that it ever will.

The game is fun, easy to pick and overall a good experience. It's a fighting game and a fighting game only. Pretty much strictly arcade style the same as Tekken or Street Fighter. In this day and age thats kind of a bummer since NetherRealm Studios has for years proven that there is so much more you can do with a fighting game. Dragon Ball is a huge property with plenty of lore and opportunities but I feel these weren't taken advantage of to create a rich storyline (Fighting games can have stories too!) or anything that memorable.

Storys nothing special consisting of a myriad/abundance of repetitive clone fights (lot of filler) Main meat is the multiplayer and combat and is it Juicy. Very fast paced and simple enough to get used to. Animooos Rejoice! Roster is a relatively fair size and every character plays differently. Music is also pretty good

The anime cell style is awesome. You can tell there is any difference between gameplay and cut scenes. Also, make sure you get the DLCs for extra character. I am happy coz I get to use Cooler (Freezer's big brother) and the purple skin captain (forgot his name). lol Have fun!!

Takes time to get use to the controls but once you do, it's really fun. The game is great for beginners to the Fighting genre as it's easy to play but difficult to master. The game has awesome anime graphics and if you're a Dragon Ball fan, a lot of iconic moments. Definitely would recommend it.
