Is okay.its a fun way to play with friends or have your own custom episode fight. Story mode is bad.dont even bother. All you do is watch lazy cutscene charge you ki to max dash in and mash one button. Vanish is the game that all you do to survive.

This is a great comeback for the budokai tenkaichi series! The game is fun and playing with friends is always great. It does have some flaws but I think overall the game is well worth it for any dragon ball fan. Hopefully the game will get updates to fix the issues it does have like no casual online matchmaking and some broken characters but either way this was a purchase I do not regret!

Game is fun, but the tutorial is very clunky. I enjoy the battle for the most part, but the tutorial is pretty disappointing. When you are trying to learn the game controls, it is an un-smooth process to go through the tutorial, having to continually go back and select different training. It's far more time consuming for something that most players should utilize.

Ball enthusiasts and fighting game fans alike. The game perfectly captures the high-energy, fast-paced action that the franchise is known for, while delivering a wide range of beloved characters to master. The graphics are stunning, with vibrant animations and detailed character models that truly bring the Dragon Ball universe to life. The combat system is smooth and engaging, offering a mix of accessible controls for newcomers and deeper mechanics for those who love a challenge. Whether you’re chaining combos or unleashing iconic moves like the Kamehameha, the gameplay feels thrilling and impactful. The game also does a great job balancing nostalgia with innovation. Classic story arcs are revisited in an exciting way, while new modes and features keep things fresh. The multiplayer experience is another highlight, allowing for epic battles against friends or competitive online matches.
Overall, Sparking Zero delivers a faithful and exhilarating Dragon Ball experience that fans of the series shouldn’t miss. It’s a true love letter to the franchise and a fantastic fighting game in its own right!

Let me just start by saying I've played all the Tenkaichi games 1-3 and I was completely hyped up for this game and it satisfied me in ways like an old man could feel when he feels an existential nostalgia the gameplay was superb the option between standard and classic mode for the controller is what made me gasp like a kid again I dont want to put to much spoilers in this review but this game is a game that is gonna be living in your head for years to come IN SHORT THE GAME WAS PHENOMENAL!

The visual and game play is solid. Same storyline but with it's own unique approach. Only which they had a kick and punch button instead of the game doing a set combo.
Good amout of usable characters to battle with at start.

Lots of fun. Finally broke the trend of waiting for the sequel to implement a transformation mechanic (I haven't played EVERY dragon ball game to release over the last decade, but it seems like every one that doesn't have the number 2 in the title has different characters for every different form and no way to transform mid-battle)

This game reminds me of Budokain Tenkaichi 3 except 10 times better. Great graphics, gameplay and good alternate story lines to add to any already amazing story. The game is missing a few characters that were on previous games but still awesome.
