Great graphics. fun free flow gameplay Along with a unique story to revisit dbz lore. Created character is a truly welcomed addition to the game. Not for traditional fighting game fans but for fans of dbz you'll be very happy

For years I was waiting for a Blu ray DBZ and now it has arrived the story mode is really excellent, rewrite history Offline mode no connection required. only complaint is the Tokyo city you cannot fly.

The battle mechanics are simple enough that you can button mash your way through some of the early fights but it helps to learn the rest of the commands. My cousin has a lot of fun with this game until he gets stuck. You can level up your character and purchase new moves and outfits which is a neat addition. Brawls are fun even though they get repetitive. The addition of parallel quests allows you to battle in what-if scenarios that extend the replay-ability of the game. You can also play online with others yet I have not tried it yet. The game looks pretty close to the cartoon. Overall its a fun game.

fun game to play. the fighting is a little different as you can basically fight in 4D. so you can fly in, out, up, down, left, right. It's definitely different

Haven't played much yet, but when I have it has been very entertaining. Graphics are great, story line seems good. Will update when I play more. So far so good!

Finally a dragonball game that brings back memories of the budokai and tenkaichi series. This is by far one of the better entries in recent years. If you were dissatisfied with battle of Z, this game is far better in every single category. The fighting mechanics are great and you'll soon find yourself not wanting to put the controller down. Character customization is an awesome part of this game as you get to create your very own z fighter from a variety of races (i.e. saiyans, nameks, majins, earthlings, Frieza's race). All in all, this game redeems the series for the failed attempts at trying to recreate the success of the ps2 games.

Let's face it, you can only play through the cell saga so many times right? Well this game is a breath of fresh air. It includes ever saga from Saiyan to Lord Beers. These sagas are corrupted though so it is your mission to go and correct them. Your get to create your own character and you have a variety of raices to choose from. The combat is my favorite of any previous game and the added rpg aspects are a nice surprise. You also get to team up with your favorite characters from the series or pick someone else's created online character. Don't let previous failures from this series stop you from picking this one up. They nailed it.

Unless you're an avid Dragonball Z fan, I wouldn't recommend this game. It's 100% a package built for longtime fans, as the story expects you to remember the story from the show, leaving out most of the development and interim moments. Otherwise the gameplay is a far-improved version of the kind used in older DBZ fighting games, opening up the fight to more combatants on-screen. To get full enjoyment of the game I recommend playing a Saiyan for your first character; they won't let you build more than one character until you beat the main story.

The Best DBZ game yet. The game play is awesome and also very entertaining. The story line is interesting and online game play is fun too.

Love the story mode! Graphics are great and you will enjoy the game once you get hang of the controls. Must have for every DBZ fan!

Great story nice way to customize your character I just wish there were so more options to the customization better than I imagined

Xenoverse is easily the best DBZ game to come out since the Budokai games. Its has its flaws and the online has died down, but it is still worth the purchase.

This has been the best dbz game ive played. The story is great and the fighting is conpetetive. Its fun olaying with friends.

Awsome story line. Very fun battles. Graphics are good and the voices are identical to the ones in the show. If your a dbz fan a must buy.

The last time game I played from the DBZ franchise was Budokai 2. What a huge difference!! You can create your own character & interact with other players online. Maybe even take them head on or have them join you & help you out with your quest. It's a little hard to adjust at first, but once you get the hang of it, the game itself becomes really fun & interesting plus there's tons of customizable items for your character. The only flaw I can think of is local multiplayer, which is strictly a 1 vs 1 and in 1 battle stage only.

This game is a very solid, even beats other fighting games like Guilty Gear Xrd with so little content and missing characters. This game's story mode is written by Toriyama himself and is very enjoyable to play. You get to use a lot of characters that you unlock by default and not have to pay DLC for, more than enough unlike other fighting games recently. The main fun comes from building your own character, play though the story and be a part of the world, while leveling him/her up though single or multi-player co op missions (max of 6!!! players, 3 on 3). This game is fast and balanced compared to Naruto games. Every race in the character making behaves different and have different perks. You can learn many many moves though playing and becoming famous character's students. This game is just packed with so many content, that it is a complete and rich game when you buy it, it is not "missing" content and you won't be wondering why your game feel empty without being drained for DLC's. This is not just an anime game, it is GREAT game even compared to many other games. Mechanics are balanced and solid, contents are rich, tons of varieties to have fun with, online with friends is totally fun, and for the PS4 version you can have share play with your friends online, they can use pre-existing famous characters without having to build their own, and help you or battle you. This game is AMAZING, buy it!!

While the story involves the original timeline, the creators put in a twist which allows you, with a custom created character, to participate in the DBZ Storyline. All those times you watched the show and thought "I could help out the Z Team" now comes true in this specific game. The inconsistencies in the storyline, such as Krillin cutting off Vegeta's Tail rather than Yajarobi, do pop up, but doesn't take away from the overall experience of this game. MUST BUY!

Dragon Ball is a pretty decent game. Story mode is pretty cool. Online Seems to be down Everyday i try to use it. You Can Only Make One Create A Character Till you Beat the game. Biggest Downfall of the Game theirs no Destruction which is strange cause all the other DBZ games had that.. Overall ok game

Awesome story with this new game. Able to become any character and graphics are very impressive.
