Pretty good game. It's fairly simple to perform actions compared to other fighting games although it doesn't do a very good job of explaining much to the player. There was an update that added a training mode and online play as well as additional assist characters and the ability to unlock stronger versions of all the characters to help balance things out more. The story mode is pretty weak, but there's a mission mode where you need to complete each stage under certain conditions to unlock things. Overall, it has a nice amount of content for a fighting game although it's not quite as deep as some others.

Great game for any Dragonball z fan. The roster is awesome.

Lack of multiplayer may kill this one for many, so know what your getting into before purchasing. Detailed character sprites and marvel vs capcom like game play is done well.

The fighting style is more a kin to the first budokai game with its combo based power moves. Only thing missing is what Amazon got as an exclusive being the Super Butoden SNES virtual console 3DS download code.

Got this game for my brother, who is a huge Dragon Ball Z fan. He was impressed with all the different characters you can play as, and he seemed to enjoy playing it a lot.

The game itself is a nice throwback to 2D fighters in the 1990s. However, the mechanics are almost too simple. There are much fewer playable characters, but a ton of available assist characters that need to be unlocked. All of the characters have the same moves, input, and even the super and ultimate combos look similar. The only things that differentiate each of them is their height and how much damage they can inflict based on their dragon points level.

Too simple. Looks amazing though. Cheap enough to warrant a purchase. DBZ/. Sprite fans only.

No joke, I spent A LOT of time playing this game! THIS is hands down my favorite handheld fighting game besides Smash 3DS!! I got my copy on sale for $15 and it was ABSOLUTELY WORTH EVERY PENNY!! It feels like a mix of Budokai and Blazblue! It's not NEARY as bad as some critics made it out to be. If you are a DBZ fan, it's a MUST.

Story mode is repetitive and the "what if" scenarios are not really "what if" scenarios until the very last story is unlocked. More characters to unlock would have been nice. And the game is very easy. Not even the highest difficulty is much of a challenge. But it looks wonderful and plays great and is a lot of fun.

ITS OVER 9000 !!! Great game. Great ad price + gamers club discount. Can't beat this deal.
