Making a cartoon into a movie is not an easy thing. Dragonball is in itself a classic anime that needs the creativity of the anime world to fully capture the scope of the story it tells. The movie falls short of the cartoon standards with okay acting at best, but good special effects. This is a Netflix one time watch not a buy.

I personally enjoyed this movie. Could it of been better sure. But for what it is, its an ok movie. I was a big DragonBall fan as a kid in the 90s and this is honestly how I pictured a live action verson of this show would go. So i can't complain about the movie.

While I'm a huge dragon ball fan and will say this movie is not as good as the cartoon its still has its moments and can be fun to watch, kids especially seem to like it.

Wow, if you haven't seen this movie, I would advise against watching it. Why did i buy this and why did i give it two stars? Well, to answer both this questions, I actually bought this as a gag gift. No one in their right mind would be like "Oh wow, thanks for this gift", instead they'll be like "Oh haha, you got me this horrible movie. Dang you got me." And yes I recommended this to a friend in the fact that I got it as a gag gift.

If you enjoy dragon all this movie is for you. Would like to see more characters but nevertheless a great entertainment movie

A live action DB movie gives it the best try it can and does a decent job.

This live-action adaptation of the global hit, Dragon Ball Z, is a travesty. So much so that it ranks among some of the worst films in the history of the world! Watch at your own peril!

I enjoyed the story, the effects and the cast. Not complex, the world of dragonball is an escape from reality and would be a great time to exist in if possible

I bought it because it was cheap and love Dragon Ball Z, but this is not a great movie.

Excellent price, great sound quality and special effects.

Famously known as being a terrible movie outside of Dragon Ball lore, it is just as bad as the reviews claim it to be. It even came in a broken case (probably during delivery)! Makes a great gag gift for any true Dragon Ball nerd.

Nothing to do with dragon ball except for the characters and the actual balls being involved. Horrible acting, costumes, and story lines.

The movie was fun and had it's moments. It missed on a few parts that were key elements of the cartoon series it came from. For example, they barely touched on the tournament in the story.

Just laugh at this movie. it's a great comedy. Not recommended for Dragon Ball fans that can't take a joke.
