The DVD of the second recent DBZ movie is exactly as the title says: Resurrection: F. It's not a director's cut, so there are no additional scenes, but it does have some behind the scenes on the actors, which is nice, though it's mainly seeing the actors voicing an entire scene of the film while watching the film. I would have liked a director's cut, but that's not the fault of this item, though the behind the scenes are a little weak. Still an excellent pick-up for fans!

As a longtime fan of Dragon Ball Z, I thoroughly enjoyed this 100 minute feature. It has more action than laughs, unlike the previous feature Battle of Gods. It's not for young kids, it contains swearing, like the Toonami version of Kai. The special effects during the fights are fantastic. I'd recommend this to anyone who wants to have a good time, but non-DBZ fans might be confused by the terminology.

Dragonball Z: Resurrection "F" was an excellent continuation of the story started in Battle of Gods and is a must-see for Dragonball fans. The plot? Frieza, the best Dragonball villain, is revived and becomes stronger than ever before. Luckily, Goku and Vegeta have been training with one of the most powerful beings in the universe; but even still, they're in for a tough fight!

Fans of the Japanese anime series Dragon Ball Z can relish in delight that the latest animated film installment delivers all that you might expect from this great franchise by Akira Toriyama. In this film the dreaded villain known as Frieza returns. The English subtitles and voice acting option is perfect for those who prefer to watch in English. There is also an option for Japanese audio.

What can be said that hasn't been said already about this movie. It goes bigger and better than the last. Set a year and a half after "Battle Of Gods" Freeza's former lieutenant comes to earth to bring him back to life. Then afterwards everything breaks loose. What's extra cool about this movie is all the Z fighters get to shine on screen. A great movie and a wonderful purchase!

I have been a fan of the Dragon Ball series for a while now, so it was a no brainer that I would pick this movie up. I didn't have a chance to see it at the theatre but I did watch it prior to making my purchase. This story line continues after the events of Battle of Gods. Frieza is back for revenge and it is up to Goku and the rest of the Z fighters to stop him.

The action is fast paced story meshes well with the old characters & brings back a familiar face. My only gripe --SPOILER ALERT-- for those who still havent seen it is Vegeta doesnt get the closure he needed. Hopefully in DB Super they retcon the ending & do it right. Overall gr8 film

I'm glad that Akira has continued the series through movies and now another season of this fantastic Anime. I saw both this and Battle of The Gods in Theaters when first released and purchased both when released on Blu-Ray. Battle of The Gods was a lot better, the story and interaction between the characters was better and the story was more designed for a movie length. Resurrection F felt like it needed to be a season long story, and felt very rushed due to the time limits of a movie.

As a Dragon Ball Z fan I really enjoyed this film. The plot was intriguing and the characters were great, but my only problem was the plot hole in the beginning of the movie which doesn't explain how the characters got to this point from the last movie. Definitely a must watch for any Dragon Ball Z fan.

This movie is a bit divisive among DBZ fans, but I love it. It focuses more on comedy and fan-service moments than the typical "heroes get beaten up for 70 minutes and then they win with the last punch" plot structure. Not the best DBZ film by any stretch, but possibly one of the most fun to watch.

I ended up buying this after years of both my wife and I being fans of the show, and our kids starting to enjoy it as well. It was a little slow to start but picked right up. I love the new animation style in the new movies, and really enjoyed this one, and have watched it several times since buying.

I have been a Dragon Ball Z fan since for the last 20 years. I knew I had to buy this movie. When I went I could not find the movie. However, one of the employees at Best Buy off of Lakeline in Austin TX helped me find it and it only took a couple of minutes. Great movie and great experience.

This movie is a mix between Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z in style, more DBZ than Battle of the Gods. It was a very good movie that is worth watching if you are a DBZ fan or not. It might be a little confusing if you haven't seen BoG but it is worth every cent. No need for more cowbell here.

I've been a Dragon Ball Z fan since I was in high school and this movie was a great addition to the collection. I wish it was longer but I'm definitely looking forward to whatever they put out next. It's nice to share something I loved so much as a kid with my son who also loves Dragon Ball Z.

This movie was purely made from the success of Battle of Gods. Its an entertaining film but will only please fans of Goku and Vegeta. My only gripe with the film is the lazy writing from Akira Toriyama, the creator of Dragon Ball. Frieza only trains for 4 months and his power level is par with Goku where it took the z fighters decades to beat the likes of Cell and Majin Buu. Overall entertaining film but will only serve to Vegeta and Goku.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for one of my brothers. While I can't stand Dragon Ball Z, he can't get enough of it (having collected the series since the 1990s on VHS). He couldn't wait to watch this film and loved it, and I know he'd recommend it to any Dragon Ball fans out there.

I wont review the content since most people buying this are already fans anyway. I opted for the DVD version since its cheaper and really wasnt sure how much benefit one could get from blu ray with this type of animation. Even with the DVD i was pleasantly surprised. It looked like HD .

This movie is great because there are not too many downtimes. I didn't think I was going to like Frieza again but I was proven wrong. Great bad guy!! The plot was funny, smart and made the time go by quick. My only complaint is nothing happens that makes any impact in the DBZ universe.

I waited for this film for so long! Saw it in theater 3 times and quickly got it on blu ray when released. The fight scenes are so good! It feels as natural as a live action martial arts film. Great humor! Sound design and dubbing is on point! Great job by the great Chris Sabat!

This movie was the best of the summer. Not sure who this other jokster is who gave it a bad rating, but i can tell you that they are not a true dragon ball z fan. Movie was three times better than Battle of the Gods and worth buying. I will definitely be pre-ordering a copy.
