This movie falls short of the precedent established in the previous entry. While still enjoyable, I felt it was dragging at times and its large draw is how it plays on your nostalgia (which is pretty much what the whole movie does, takes all the plot advancement from the previous entry and largely discards it, sending you back 20 years in time to when the frieza saga was just coming out). Its very enjoyable, while lacking intensity that many of the previous movies posses, it was nice to see a staple of the series given new life (heh sorry about the pun). Certainly not a bad movie if you are a hardcore fan, but others should look to many of the older movies for a better ride. (Also it was difficult for me to get past the change in voice actor/actress of Freiza, since his voice is so iconic to the animated show. Try as i might i couldn't ignore the different voice, which was a large distraction for me during the movie.)

As long as I can remember DBZ has always been my go to Anime. Whether it was to catch up on the latest episode or relax with a rerun after a long day. I can always count on DBZ to be there for me and my family, to ensure that we got the best quality show for our money. Even when that meant paying a little bit extra for said DBZ box sets(And lord knows there are a lot of box sets). But again cost is a small price to pay for a brand of Anime that has never let me or my family down. You could say we're DBZ people for life

I'm glad that Akira has continued the series through movies and now another season of this fantastic Anime. I saw both this and Battle of The Gods in Theaters when first released and purchased both when released on Blu-Ray. Battle of The Gods was a lot better, the story and interaction between the characters was better and the story was more designed for a movie length. Resurrection F felt like it needed to be a season long story, and felt very rushed due to the time limits of a movie.

The DVD of the second recent DBZ movie is exactly as the title says: Resurrection: F. It's not a director's cut, so there are no additional scenes, but it does have some behind the scenes on the actors, which is nice, though it's mainly seeing the actors voicing an entire scene of the film while watching the film. I would have liked a director's cut, but that's not the fault of this item, though the behind the scenes are a little weak. Still an excellent pick-up for fans!

This movie was purely made from the success of Battle of Gods. Its an entertaining film but will only please fans of Goku and Vegeta. My only gripe with the film is the lazy writing from Akira Toriyama, the creator of Dragon Ball. Frieza only trains for 4 months and his power level is par with Goku where it took the z fighters decades to beat the likes of Cell and Majin Buu. Overall entertaining film but will only serve to Vegeta and Goku.

I recently purchased this because it was on sale. As ahuge DBZ fan, I was excited to see Freiza return. However, the story was kind of slow moving and honestly didn't make much sense. Although it was cool to see Vegeta attain Super Saiyan God. Exceptional clarity in HD. A good buy for DBZ fans but realize that this movie constitutes the early portion of the new DBZ series when it comes to America.

Dragonball Z: Resurrection "F" was an excellent continuation of the story started in Battle of Gods and is a must-see for Dragonball fans. The plot? Frieza, the best Dragonball villain, is revived and becomes stronger than ever before. Luckily, Goku and Vegeta have been training with one of the most powerful beings in the universe; but even still, they're in for a tough fight!
