Dragon's Crown is the spiritual successor to a pair of 1990's beat-em-ups from Capcom: Tower of Doom, and Shadow Over Mystara. These are licensed Dungeons & Dragons games that incorporated RPG elements into Final Fight-styled battles. Dragon's Crown has that wonderful Vanillaware graphical touch with massive "sprites" that twist and undulate constantly. Originally released on the PS3 and PS Vita a few years ago, Dragon's Crown Pro is a PS4 port that improves the graphics even further, adds cross platform compatibility, and other gameplay balance tweaks. (Other than the graphics upgrades, the other tweaks were patched into the PS3 and Vita versions.) Recommended!

Didn't expect too much on this game but I was wrong about it. The graphic and the action controls were better than I expected that It would be much more fun if you have a friend to play with offline.

I played this game on the PS3 years ago and it was a great time. I had to get this version because the graphics are slightly better and it’s hard to find old school style side scrollers out there.

A wonder update to the PS3/PS Vita classic. Definitely worth getting again for the update on the PS4 with all the music revamped and the ability to play with friends that had the PS3 version already!

This is a fantastic RPG/Arcade brawler game. If you liked games like Guardian HEROS you should get this game. Fantastic art and fantastic story. This one is a hidden gem.

Dragon Crown was a very good game on PS3 and Vita and now sees the day of light on the PS4 with this edition. It is worth owning the extras in this Atlus release and the steelbook is very cool.

Played the original on PS3 a lot, this is a straight forward port of the original with better frame rates and higher resolution graphics. Regardless, this game has gorgeous hand drawn sprites and you can see he love that went into every frame of the game. Must buy for fans of dungeon crawlers.

My friend and I picked up this game for a fun afternoon. This game reminds me of those classic side scrollers like Gauntlet but also adds plenty of new abilities to collect and upgrade.

I enjoyed this game on PS3 so it was good to see them bring back an even better looking version of it on PS4. The embossed metal case that this version comes with is beautiful as well.

I played this game at my brothers house and had a blast so I had to pick up a copy myself. I love Vanillaware games but I never got around to this one. I'm glad I finally did though.

Once you unlock the ability to go online the game shines. Dragon's Crown reminds me of streets of rage and diablo put into one with it's good rpg elements, loot, and tight combat

This game has enhanced graphics for both the PS4 and PS4Pro with the difference being the Pro supports 4K. I also have this game on PS3 and I don't see a huge difference but I bought this game for the packing and the collecting aspect rather than upgrading the game again from the PS2/PS3 versions.

I like this game. I was hoping for a more classic RPG play style, but I do enjoy playing this. It has nice narration and a old school play experience. The story book graphic style and story line is a nice addition to the experience. I’m glad to have this in my game collection.

This game I never played but I bought because the steelcase and graphics on the front were so cool.I was told not to judge a book by its cover but the cover was that good.

The game is beautiful to look at. Those of you that enjoy the old school side scrolling beat em up titles will love it. The RPG elements greatly enhance replay value.

The game is a nice upgrade from the PS3 and Vita version! This version of the game comes in a very slick steelbook case and collector cards of characters in the game.

Gorgeous graphics that look even better on the PS4. This is more than a game - it's art. If you like brawlers and whimsical themes, you'll be in love with this game.

Great game if you like dungeons and dragons tabletop and the beaten up D & D arcade games. If you played this before on other systems... nothing new.

Dragons Crown was an amazing game on PS3, but it awe inspiring for the PS4. The had drawn graphics are amazing. This game is amazing, play it!!

yes i have so it seems. we played it for a few hours and it seems that we have played this before, but then it is not a full price game. so i think it does look better and sounds maybe better, but i think were just redoing the same quests that we did before.
