    Fairly dry depiction of the saving of British and French troops from Dunkirk in the early stages of World War II. One must use their imagination to envision the true evacuation, as the number of soldiers saved is about 1/300,000 of the actors and extras shown, as well as the boats by civilians assisting. Some drama, some action, but not much of a chance to get to know the stories behind or about the roles played. Could have been much better in all areas.
