needed a DVD player that was inexpensive but good quality and this was it!! at $30 this was a bargain, that was easy to set up and operate. didn't need any of the bells and whistles of the more expensive dvd players, just something to watch movies on

Works as advertised. Only complaint is figuring out the DVD versus CD hook up. Remote works well and functions appropriately. Can't beat it for the price!

I was in need of a replacement DVD player for my home gym. Since I use the DVD player mainly for workout DVD's I was in need of something simple and didn't require all of the bells and whistles. The Insignia DVD player has been a GREAT product for the price I paid. There's no time counter on the front of the unit however I'm not in need of that functionality anyways. The product shipped quickly and works absolutely perfect for my workout DVD's. And at that price nobody can complain :).

I wanted a cheap DVD player for my bedroom TV, which I rarely watch and this was the least expensive one I found. I have watched one or two movies with it and it did just fine. It's not fancy or has any bells and whistles, but you get what you pay for. Serves it purpose and if you want the top of the line than you have to pay for the top of the line. Simple as that. I recommend it for the kids or the TV that you watch a movie every now and then on. Probably not the best for the home theatre room

We purchased one for our garage gym because of the size and price. It has outlasted our brand name more expensive one, so this is our second one.

We seldom watch DVDs anymore, but occasionally we want to watch something we already have. This was the case after Christmas and of course, that is when our DVD player decided to go on the blink. I was looking for a quick, easy, and cheap replacement. I was pleasantly surprised at this unit. It was easy to unpack and it worked instantly without any trouble. It seemed responsive to the remote control without much lag. It is not loaded with features, but if you just need to play DVDs occasionally, it is a perfect choice.

Our expensive computer/DVD player quit working, so we replaced it with this super simple dvd player that connected to our receiver with no extra cables or headaches. The price was great. No backlight on the remote, but the play button is larger, so you don't need lights to get the movie started. Would buy this again. KISS philosophy here... Keep It Super Simple.

My old DVD player quit working after several years. I purchased this basic DVD player as a replacement since I do not own any Blue-Ray DVDs. This player works well and is easy to set up. It did not work with my existing component cables that were hooked up to the old player but works with the cables it came with in the box.

This little DVD player had easy setup, works well and was offered at a great low price. I took off one star due to the fact that it shuts off rather quickly when paused and once this happens, sometimes does not start where you left off, meaning you have to restart DVD which can be annoying. But still a good DVD player.

Very basic model dvd player, but for the price, it is a great value. Easy to operate, and easy to set up. Bought it for my wife to play her fitness dvd's, and with being used an hour every single day for the last 2 months, it's still operating like it did day 1.

I am relatively pleased with the blu ray player. I had minimum requirements so disappointing me would be difficult. It had to work, have certain features I would use regularly, and fit the tight dimensions of the location it had to go into. So far so good.

I have an Insignia TV, soundbar and now this DVD player. I have had no issues with Insignia products. The DVD player is compact; it fits in well in my living room that has my cable box, soundbar, and internet/wifi equipment. Very simple to use and easy to hook-up. Please note that there is NO HDMI connection but the product works well.

This is an inexpensive DVD player so, do not expect the features you would expect to find on a more expensive player. This player does the job well and would recommend it for a kid's room or somewhere you are not looking for a bunch of features.

I am pretty impressed with this little fella. I have had it for five days not and it is great! Picture is pretty clear and the controls are simple. It is all my 2 year old needs to watch his Disney movies. I may get one for myself. It is definitely worth 25 dollars.
