Needed more outlets for all the plugs. This was a great buy over the other house brand Rocketfish or the Monster surge protectors. Bestbuy doesn’t place these by the more expensive surge protectors, probably because they want you to spend more on the other brands. I had to ask where this was and the store associate took me all the way on the other side of the store and had to show me where they were. The box is plain white so you would never notice what was in there by just waking buy. Great buy for the money!!

This surge protector has proven the correct choice for my sons college dorm room. Twelve power outlets to handle all of his electronics and protect them as well. The USB ports are an added bonus that have proven to be very useful since he cannot seem to keep up with his cell phone charging cube. I looked at many of these before purchasing this one and this one seemed to offer the most for the money. I would recommend this to anyone who is working on a college budget.

So far, so good. Using this for my desktop, as well as some studio monitors and other random desk bits. Better placement of outlets than my previous surge protector, plus the USB ports make this a great solution for myself. Claims a much higher protection level than other brands at Best Buy for the same price. Nondescript box made it difficult to find in-store, but I'm glad I didn't give up looking for it.

It isn't unusual for me to have a few power strips chained together, since there isn't much room for larger plugs on a regular power strip The layout on these works very well - it lets me plug in a few larger plugs, meanwhile it doesn't steal away the room from the smaller outlets. It also has USB ports built-in for charging phones other USB devices. With 12 outlets, it's a pretty hard deal to beat.

This was an item that I'd been looking for to tame my "under the desk" cords. The way the sockets are designed it allows for fitting plugs of several different sizes. After a few tries I was able to utilize all 12 outlets. This eliminated three different strips that were under-utilized because some of the larger plugs covered some of the sockets. It works perfect for what I was looking for.

This is a good, inexpensive power strip that does the job. The outlets are well spaced so that wall warts can be plugged in without overlapping other outlets, Yay!. The surge protection is 1200 joules, much higher than a lot of inexpensive(and some expensive) strips. There are two usb charging ports, probably the only downside is that the total current available is 2.1 amps. Charging my (2amp) phone takes all the available current; it would have been nice if each outlet could supply 2.1 amps.

I recently lost a 32 inch television along with my blu-ray player during a recent storm in NW Louisiana. After consulting with a computer science major and a Best Buy customer service representative, I feel confident making this purchase. Another benefit of this surge protector are the USB ports. I can quickly charge my portable mini Bluetooth speakers that I recently bought. Lastly a major plus of this item is the spacing of the plugs. More than enough room for my electronics. Highly recommended.

I was worried about having 12 outlets extend from one, but this Dynex model has proven to be both convenient and safe. No heat, no worry -- despite the fact that we have an older house with outdated wiring. These does the job, makes life easier, and has been a reliable way to get all of our devices connected in one room without having the luxury of multiple wall outlets as you'd find in newer houses.

I have nothing bad to say about this power strip/surge protector. The fact that it has 12 outlets & dual 2.1 USB slots is reason enough to purchase it. And for the price?? It definitely cannot be beat! I'm going to buy a few more, just as backups and to have around the house. The only strange thing is the packaging; literally just a plain white box with specs on it and a name. No logos, no color, nothing. Kind of strange, but hey, it's just a box!

This surge protector was just what I needed. It gives you the outlets needed with space to plug in larger AC adapters. You also get USB slots to gain even more spaces to charge items. The only thing I wish was I wish it had a straight up plug for the outlet instead of it being rounded. I know that is supposed to help in some way but it would be easier to plug in multiple surge protectors if needed.

Bought a new entertainment center, the two plug wall outlet was not going to be able to come close to powering all the devices. This power strip has more than enough to satisfy all the components power hookups. The best part is the plugs have different positions so those power adapters can be plugged in without blocking another outlet. Having built in USB connectors is an additional plus to power my Magic Jack phone device and ChromeCast.

This thing is the king of the surge protectors. I love it. I bought this to upgrade the two shady surge strips I had back behind my entertainment center. I love the 90 degree low profile plug. I love that it has 12 outlets for about the same price as the 6 outlet strips. I love that the spacing on the outlets is all different so you can fit a variety of devices. It is perfect.

The layout of the outlets is great. There are 2 that are spaced further away for your larger plugs. The remaining spots are oriented in different directions. 12 outlets and 2 usb ports with 2.1A for faster charging. The 90° plug on it allows you to plug in behind a couch / entertainment center without having them pulled away from the wall. Highly recommend this to anyone looking.

This beast of a power strip is essential!! It has done a fantastic job allowing me to plug in many devices both usb style and traditional plug style. I've never had an issue and have recommended it to many friends.

What we do is carry one along, and can charge ALL our devices once we get where we are going. Sometimes a motel/hotel has most of the outlets used up for lamps, clocks, appliances, but there is always at least one open. So, plug in the 12 outlet/2 USB surge protector and you are all set.

This power strip is amazing. It solved my issue of not enough room for all my gadgets to plug in at once in my media room. The included USB ports are a nice addition if you plan to have this out in your room and not hidden. Nice quality overall. My only wish is that there were two more holes for better hanging on the wall. This was solved with a piece of Velcro for stability.

Not knowing when to expect a power surge that could really do a lot of harm to my TV or Computer I purchase the 12 outlet surge protection power strip which as a bonus includes USB Ports. We recently had a wild night of lightning and thunder which could have a been a real problem if my house had been struck. Again I had peace of mind knowing my Dynex 12 outlet/2 USB surge protector was protecting my valuable electronics.

I was very happy to get this. It has 12 standard outlets, plus 2 USB ports, and a wall-hugging male plug. Each outlet has a sliding cover that makes it child safe. I doubt that anyone would need all 12 outlets simultaneously, but it is very nice to use with an entertainment center that has multiple devices. You can shut everything down with the flip of a single switch. I am impressed at the engineering and extremely pleased I bought it.

I love having a multiple outlet strip that allows for space between some of the larger plugs. I use mine for my workstation and there's plenty of room to plug everything in without crowding out the outlets. The dedicated USB charger is a nice feature to have for some of our rechargeable.

I needed another surge protector so when I saw this one I knew this was perfect for our home because it has multiple outlets along with two USB ports. When I decided to use the Dynex surge protector to charge my phone I decided to use the USB port to see if it would charge quicker, the same, or in less time. In doing so I found that charging my phone in the USB port takes less time to charge my phone than it does using the outlets.
