This is an effective cross-shredder which I am satisfied with. Positives: shreds CD's and credit cards easily; It's a nice looking self-contained unit; Simple set-up. Negatives: VERY messy when you have to dump the basket (you WILL need a vacuum each time); the container fills up quickly; the loader really slows down with more than 6 sheets at a time; noisy (this thing does not hum).

Purchased to replace a different brand of shredder that had never functioned very well & finally stripped its gears. I have been really pleased with the power, ease of use & reliability. Easily shreds multiple sheets, credit cards & CDs/DVD's. I like that the receptacle slides out rather than having to lift off the mechanism, but the shredded paper spills out easily if the receptacle is too full. Overall, it's well worth the money.

Replacing an old Fellowes shredder that was on its last legs. Found this and after reading reviews and making on-line comparisons, decided to order this unit. I did an on-line order and in-store pickup. Everything went exactly as is should have. I assembled the unit in about 5 minutes, just popping the casters in and putting the shredding unit on the base. Tried it and was immediately pleased with how fast and quiet it worked. The only quibble I have is with the flip cover which creates a small angle to insert paper.

Cuts up papers nice and small,but it could make less noise.

Simple to use shreds multiple sheets of paper quickly. Also shreds CDs and plastic cards without a problem.

I've only had it a month. Works good. But, it is cheaply made. Sitting on carpet, the automatic feature will sometimes shut off. Expected better quality for the price.

If you dont want to have to open each evelope and throw away parts that arent requiring shredding or do multiple feeds for 1 envelope, this is for you. I had a smaller one that couldnt handle the thick junk mail and bills, this does it all. Worth the money.

It worked good for a few days then jammed up with one of those thicj credit card applications. I had to physically remove most of the shreds from the shredder teeth. Is working good now but i'm very cautious

Good and small cross cut shredder, good for home or small Business. Try this product and I'm sure you would like it nothing to assemble, just take it out of the box, and plug it in!

Great Shredder it has worked as promised. The paper has to pushed into shredder or motor runs without paper being shredded, but small price to pay for the value. It looks sharp and adds a professional look to my room.

I bought this hoping I could quickly shred lots of documents and mail. It meets my expectations. After shopping around I felt this was the best I could get without spending too much.

I am glad I purchased this shredder and I am looking forward to using it for a long time

I needed something to shred at least 10 pages at a time as I was converting all my paper files to digital format onto an external hard drive!

Great price for the size. Looks nice and really shreds the paper and the credit cards.

What is great about this shreder is that you dont have to take the top off to empty. Just pull the front of the pal out and empty it love it.

I was hopeful that this shredder would be better than the one I bought previously at Sam's a few years ago (it seized). I was in for a serious disappointment. It does not do more than one strong or two thin sheets at a time; and the way it achieves its task is by spinning furiously, which may be why it is almost painfully noisy. The card slot shreds only at twice the knife spacing of the sheet slot, which is pretty lame, as 4-5 pieces are not much to work to obtain someone's card numbers. The shredder is also unable to torque itself out of a misaligned load, even if said load consists only of 2 sheets (it is rated for 8!!). Overall I am very disappointed in this product.
