If you're wanting fast charging on an iPhone 8 or later, then I can justify spending the money on an Apple-branded cable. If you don't care about fast charging, this is the cable for you. It's cheap but it works great; it's already survived longer in my wife's car than most standard USB cables do (and even the tougher cable that was in there).

Love this charging cable! It’s long, charges my phone quickly and seems like it will last me a long time. For the price, you can’t beat it! Works just as good if not better than an Apple brand charging cable

This cable charges my iPad mini fast. It costs a lot less than the Apple OEM cable. It works as described and much better than I expected.

I left my charger when we were out of town. The hotel said they didn’t find it. I had my charger for my iPhone, but not my iPad. I ordered this charger and glad I did. Besides working in my iPad, it works in my iPhone. It fits easily in the port for both iPad and iPhone. If you need a new charger cord for your Apple items, this is a great one to purchase.

I needed a solid charging/sync cord for Apple CarPlay, since the cheaper cords only seem to work with the CarPlay for about a week. Would give this cord 5 stars, but there has been two times so far that it hasn’t worked with using the Apple CarPlay. That being said, the actual Apple cord doesn’t work 100% of the time either. Would definitely recommend as a cheaper alternative to the Apple cord.

i've been using this cable with all my iphones including 5s, 6s, 7 , and so far it's the one of the closet one to OEM quality, it'll charge just the same as original cable, but stronger than original, much recommended to any iphone users, but when you un plug make sure to grab from the head of the charger, do not yank the cable.!

I believe the cord is thicker and the end terminals are more substantial. My Apple cables always frayed at the connector ends. This seems to hold up. I also have a longer Dynex version that's still going strong after a year in service. Plus, the price is great.
