Not knowing that the Fire Stick needed to be charged in order to work, I needed an inexpensive Micro USB. I found this item at Best Buy for $5 and it works. There are no regrets and for $5, I think Amazon should throw in a Micro USB for free. But that's just me.

This cord is a great value for the price. it is very strong at the cord connections which is usually the weakest point. This is the second one I have bought and they are much stronger than the OEM ones that come in the box.

The length is very handy as sometimes the person using the Kindle Fire is lengths away from the HDTV. It works with video and audio. Can't beat the price.

This 3 foot length is great for my desk because it eliminates all the excess wire that clutters everything with those with longer lengths.

Pretty standard stuff. No bells or whistle. It was dirt cheap on sale so I have no complaints except that I should have probably gotten a 4'.

The dog chewed up my micro-usb charger for my phone and I had to replace it. Went to the phone store and.....they were out! So I went to Best Buy and was able to find what I needed. Wanting to be sure that it would work on my phone, I was able to pop open the packaging and test it in the store. Only problem was that I preferred white and they had black only.

... however, I thought I may have had a problem with the connection inside my IPad, but a quick Google search shows that this is a known problem. So while the cord itself is fine, the unit I'm charging is what has a problem (I have to hold the cord in at a certain angle, so it makes the connection to recharge.)
