Got this product for my TV and Sound Bar System. It has 4 Surge Protected Outlet and 2 USB charging ports rated at 2.4 Amps( I am not sure if its combined or both USB ports individually has 2.4 Amps output). What i like about this is product is its design of the Cable 3-pin head. The 3-pin Head of the cable which goes to the Electrical outlet is designed in such a way that the cable goes out from the bottom of the head and not back of the head, back of the head is flat, this helps prevent cable damage if the outlet is behind furniture which can press against it. Has green LED indicator for Surge Protection ON status. I have my 55" TV and Sound bar connected to it and i use USB port for charging on daily basis. So far its working great. Very Happy with the Product.

We needed a few extra plugs in a bedroom application and the usb ports on this surge protector was just an added bonus! Works great both plugs and ports. Phones charge quickly, no issues. Appreciate the cord length and best of all it was extremely affordable. Can't go wrong IMHO. Nice little holes in back if you want to hang. Plastic and cheaper made but does not diminish its functionality. It will not work for international travel unless you use a power converter. It is only good on USA 110.

Got this using my $10 email giftcard. The cool thing is it's almost free except I have to pay tax on it. This outlet is awesome, I love the build in USB powers. Now I don't need to use an adapter when I need to charge my iphone and my ipad. One last thing I like is it comes with a great safety feature, a green lighted indicator. Like the old one I have only with a red colored indicator, now I can tell when the day gets dark.

My other surge protectors are classic surge protectors with only three prong outlets. The problem with it is that when i need more USB ports, it takes away from the three prong. This outlet has 2 USB outlets integrated in the surge protector that provide the proper voltage for my iPhone and other USB devices. I HIGHLEY recommend it!

Finally gave up my Galaxy S3 for this Moto G4 Plus (64GB). Can't believe I got an unlocked phone of this quality and specs for $229. Great camera and blazing fast! Of course, this dummy with a smart phone is still trying to figure out it's capabilities( Pure Android) since I'm used to TMobile formatted devices.

It is in use currently. No electrical storm in my area yet...Will be interested to see if surge protection really works... to justify the extra cost. Is insurance for peace of mind, I guess. Having the 2Amp USB charging ports are nice.

Got this in deal of the day. Can't complain at all for $5. The 2 USB ports are great for my phone or anything that requires that to charge. Frees up plug space. The plug is also at an angle so it won't block your other outlet. I would recommend

I bought this for the purpose of the USB charging ports and It came through with flying colors. It only has 4 outlets on it, but with the USB ports, it eliminates the need for two bulky chargers. The 2.1v charges my devices quickly.

I was very happy with the performance of this surge protector because it works very well with anything I plug ino it. The USB chargers are so convenient and saved me alot of money because I don't have to buy a specialty product.

I bought this item because when I go to my girls house there's never a place to charge my phone or my laptop so this is perfect because I can charge everything in one spot and the two USB chargers work beautifully.

Tried and true! This surge protector has worked great for years. It has protected my electronics through several power outages and storms etc. and even a real power surge. I will buy this brand again.

In addition to providing four additional 3 prong surge protected AC connections (actually 3 extra, as the adapter itself requires connection to an open AC outlet) the power strip also provides two USB power connections. Although there are many devices that can use a USB power source, I use one of the power strip's USB outlets as a recharge port for an iPod and a TomTom car GPS unit. I use another power strip for the stereo AC connections with the USB connections on the power strip powering two identical inexpensive USB powered DACs (Digital Audio Converter). One DAC is connected to an Apple TV optical port (used as an Airplay device for audio), and the other DAC is connected to the coaxial digital output an old unused DVD player re-purposed to act as a CD player. The analog outputs from the DACs are then fed to inputs on the receiver. Having the USB power outlets on the strip negates the need to use a additional outlets for converter/power bricks, and allows charging USB corded devices without having to keep the computer always powered on. Note: the USB connection on this power strip is for providing POWER ONLY, not for data transmission as found on a computer USB port. The computer USB port, being wired into the computer itself, can be used for power and/or data exchange (like from a mouse, keyboard, memory stick, printer, etc.). Critically, I would have liked the power strip to have more outlet connections (this has 4, most power strips have 6), a longer, less bulky power cord, and additional outlet spacing so power bricks do not block access to adjacent outlets (BTW...a very DIY but inexpensive solution to this problem is to use a short extension cord. Plug the power bricks into the extension cord cube outlets, then plug the extension cord into the power strip. This method leaves the other 3 prong outlets free of obstruction.). But, overall, I am quite pleased with this power strip and the value for the money, especially when sale priced!

This surge plug with USB ports works great. I have this in my bedroom to plug in my nightlamp and tv and now I have extra plugs since the USB ports allow for my phone and Apple Watch to be charged as well.

I was looking for an inexpensive power strip with a couple of USB ports and this fit the bill perfectly. I've had it for about a month and it works fine although it looks like the light behind the power button has gone out already. No big deal for me as everything else still works.

Got 5 for my home use.. it is good ideal for have 2 5v USB charging port build in.. so far after a few months usage.. no problem.. will buy more when on sale from Best Buy again..

Needed a protector for our computer and phones. The USB charging really comes in handy to charge without buying the full chargers. It has been a really useful protector.

I have to say I love the option of the 2 usb outlets on the unit. This product makes me feel secure that the products plugged into it are protected from power surges.

Small and Slim design are great to save space. Two USB power source are convenient for charging both phone and iPad. I bought another one after I had purchased one a month ago.

This works nice and it has angle connector so it can use narrow space is good point. It has only 4 port but 2 USB port is good enough for charge 2 iPhone 6s.

This is a decent, inexpensive surge protector with two USB outlets and an on/off switch on the side with a light indicating when the surge protection is on..
