I had previously used adaptors with lots of pieces which I kept losing. This allows for travel in different countries without trying to figure out which pieces to bring where.

Found this to be too heavy and cumbersome for travel - and expensive. Didn't really need the converter part, so I returned this item and found much better deals in a travel/luggage store that just carries the individual adapters.

I recently purchased this for a trip and fully relied on it working to charge my electronics. After a long flight I get to the hotel open up the converter only to find it would not work because the plastic clip that slides out whichever of the universal plugs you need broke. So I had to buy a regular converter while traveling so I ended up returning it. I would recommend trying it out before you travel. I would imagine if it hadn't broke it would of been fine but, for the money you can buy way better converters.

It works fine, but it's REALLY bulky, feels like it's going to fall apart, hard to plug your chord into it, and it is BULKY! I would get a smaller, more versatile version if I bought one again.

we used it in England, France, Switzerland, Germany and Netherlands. not a problem for any of them.

Worth the price for travelling abroad. Works in most of the countries you would be travelling.

I purchased this for my fiance to take to Italy. She primarily wanted to use it for her flat iron. When we tried to use it, it only sort of worked. The flat iron would come on but would barely get warm. It did not heat up completely. Not sure why.

Did not work for my purpose especially as it cannot be used over a long time.

My wife used it in Argentina, no issues... Great product

This product only worked for 10 minutes and then would no longer work. Not a very good product.

I was needing both a converter and adapter, but this one did not hold up.

Works with charging laptops (macbook pro and Asus) but for some reason my iPhone only charges up to 11% when plugged into this converter. Plugged phone back into computer and it charged normally. Not sure if this was a coincidence but my girlfriends flat iron straightener broke after using it with this product. However,the iron was having issues before it was plugged in so I'm still not sure if this caused it to finally break. We used this adapter in Italy (and I'm writing this review while I'm here!).

Bought this converter for travel in Europe. Worked well and was compact.

This product works very well as an adapter but when you try to convert the voltage it only works for 10 minutes before it shuts off. It's not a defect, it actually says that in the instructions. It worked great in Germany.

I bought this before a trip to Paris, France for use with a Drybar 3-day bender curling iron. It worked for five minutes, and then my curling iron ceased to heat. It turns on, but won't heat, and still is doing the same in the USA. Luckily, Drybar rocks and they're going to replace my tool since they said that this type of converter/adaptor should have worked. Bad product and so disappointed!!

Overall, I'll be looking for a different converter. It's so heavy and bulky that it has a hard time staying plugged in at times, especially when something is plugged into it. It did it's job, but there has to be better options.

Only had one issue in a recent trip to Europe - iPad wouldn't charge with this device in our last hotel room in Austria. Not sure if it was to blame - once in Germany it charged normally again using this device.
