does what it suppose to. compact, easy to use, works well

This is a nice shredder for small spaces. I bought it to use in my motor home because of limited space. It is perfect. It has power to shred junk mail with out opening it. It does need to be emptied often as the receptacle for the shredded paper is small.

I bought this shredder after reading the reviews and comparing to similar products. This little shredder may be small but it takes credit card thickness with no problem. Perfect size to fit on your desk. You do have to fold the 8.5 paper to get it to fit. Well made product and I am very happy with this Best Buy purchase.

Compact, efficient and useful for what it's designed for. I keep this unit under my main office desk which rarely sees much paper shuffled to it. I'm not sure how many "pages" worth of shreds the container is capable of holding, but for what I intended it for, it's doing what it needs.

Nice item, doesn't take up a lot of room, and heavy duty enough to shred credit cards.

In NY there isn't much room for a big bulky shredder. This is compact enough to not be in the way but functions great! Crosscut is important with so much identity theft going on, and I got the Geek Squad protection plan. If anything goes wrong, they've got my back!

I would have liked to have it be slightly larger so you could put a 8 1/2 x 11 piece of paper in it.

It does the job like any larger one, but the trash container was a little smaller than I'd imagined.

This is a handy little shredder because it does its job. Its pretty small so its mostly meant to dispose of junk mail and documents with important info. this shouldnt be used for a mass shredding seeing as it overheats and shuts down for cooling

Nice compact size. Shreds credit cards with ease. Does an okay job with paper when you have two or three layers.

Small shredder, good for emails. The actual product says it can take only 3 sheets at a time.

Perfect for my dresser. Place it in the corner to use at my convenience.

This shredder does not take much space on the desk and does the job! I do have another bigger shredder on the floor but I find it more practical to use this smaller one and shred documents as I generate them.

This little shredder is exactly what I needed. -- something that takes up little space and can handle the mail every day so a backlog of shredding work doesn't accumulate. However, the shredder does make very short strips which can leave entire words intact, depending on how you feed the paper through the shredder. I always feed items perpendicular to the printing, so whole words and numbers are chopped apart. This is a very convenient piece of office equipment that takes up very little space. It seems quite sturdy and is not prone to clog with little pieces in its teeth. I have not tried to use the shredder on plastic cards. I would highly recommend the shredder unless you need something to regularly handle a bigger volume.

Im very happy with this product. Its not noisy as others shredders. So far work beautiful. I use this everyday. Easy to put the basket. I have no problems. Yes i would recommended this machine to any one.

Its an amazing product which can be stored anywhere. Does not take a lot of space and very functional in spite of the size. Works great for shredding plastic cards like old credit and gift cards as well

Perfect for shredding junk mail and papers with identifiable information. Only accepts one item at a time, but this is fine for occasion shredding needs. Also shreds credit cards with no problem.

The Dynex shredder is small and fits well in tight places. Though small, it is surprisingly strong and will easily shred 2-3 sheets of paper. I am quite happy with the purchase of this item.

Pros: small, desktop size, does it's job Cons: it is very small, cannot handle a lot, be aware that you must fold 8.5x11 paper for it to fit, can only handle a few pages at a time

Great for small jobs and doesn't take up a lot of room.
