Perfect Room warmer only runs as long as it needs to does a great job at taking the chill off my bedroom never gets warm enough in winter or cool enough in summer so this seemed like a logical solution to a year round problem so far so good. No I have NOT noticed a spike in my electric bill.I'm anxious to see how it does in summer I have it set to 70 speed 4 its quiet & does the job I'm MORE than pleased. If you are thinking about it try it I Highly recommend it.

The air that blows out is not very cool - my regular fan blows cooler than this device. My room is fairly large and this unit does not even begin to cool the room - only cools 8x10 area. It is very loud when higher than setting 5. Save your money and get a standing fan.

I FIND THAT THE INLET OF AIR IS A BIT SMALL THERE FORE IT IS NOT SILENT AND PULLS A LITTLE ON THE ELECTRIC BILL. IT SITS LOW TO THE GROUND SO IF YOU PUT IT ON A TABLE ETC ITS EVEN LOUDER. I HAVE NOT USED THE HEATER YET JUST THE FAN.

Sleek, modern design, but the heater is louder than most portable heaters. It also seems to throw less heat than my clunkier looking but efficient heater. Nevertheless, the design is attractive and I like the fact that it's heater and fan in one item. If you like contemporary design, you'll like this hot + cool fan heater.

the only reason I do not give this product 5 full starts is just due to how expensive Dyson products are from the (Value) perspective. That being said - I am totally happy with this product for use in our large Master Bath during the mornings.

Its a little pricey for what it does. Controlling the heat level and cool level is not very well designed. Its either really hot or really cold.

Good quality and air flow. It doesn't cover the area I wanted, but I'm probably asking too much of it to warm an entire basement.

Love the idea of 2 in 1. The fan works well and the heater works for the most part except when its really cold in the room or sucking in cold air then it produces luke warm heat even at its hottest setting. Got it on the deal of the day so I am still pleased with the unit.

The heater is compact and spreads a good flow of air around the room. It is relatively quiet and has good features. It is a little "pricey"!

Warms an average size room fairly well in combination with your existing furnace.

This product I did not decide to keep because of the expense and I was guessing it would be like an air conditioner and a fountain heater and it's not. It blows air in a special way that cools the room some but for the price not for Me.

I bought this thinking because it is a Dyson it would be well made and last forever (being I haven't had it long enough for full testing). I remember the commercials for it and it seemed it would be the perfect small room (bedroom) heater and cooling fan. Well that is not the case, although it is great for moving the air in the room it is just way noisier then i expected it to be. I haven't had it long enough to check how well the heater part of it works, but it will still be noisy I am sure. For $500 it should be quieter IMO.

Bought the fan in the hopes of eliminating the big box fans we have in our house. Which by the were a total eye sore! The design of this hot/cold fan, accomplished just that. I will be purchasing 2 more in the future.

This is my 3rd fan I have purchased from best buy, I wouldn't go anywhere else to purchase due to their protection plans. This fan works great in the winter and summer time versatile for sure!

As advertised, the heating function has been great. Presume the cooling function will also be great. Thermostat controlled is a great feature.

I bought this as a heater for my home theater room in the basement, but it also doubles as a fan. It's quiet enough, looks sleek and performs well. This is actually the second one I bought.

It is an expensive heater/fan, but it works very well. I love it how it precisely controls the temperature, and it turns off when the desired temperature is reached. saves a lot of energy!

Very happy with the product only down side is that it draws a large amount of current

I loved this every time I saw it in the store and bought it when it went on clearance. It did provide the extra heat needed but found the 'fan' noise too loud to justify the cost. The newer version is supposed to be quieter so maybe I'll try that one.

This is the second Dyson fan-heater we have purchased. I Couldn't pass it up when I saw it as a daily deal for half price. As other people have said in reviews it is loud, but if you don't mind the noise they are a very nice purchase.
