I am not that impressed with the airflow from this fan verses my lasko tower fan. The reason for getting this was that I didn't want my son putting his fingers inside a fan. You also have to clean the fan quite a bit with a vacuum. The other reviews of the remote being a challenge, I agree. You have to point the remote to the base to get it to work and if you lose the remote, well good luck the fan can't be used!

It's almost like an art piece because people are intrigued by it when they see it and it becomes a focus of conversation. It does what it's supposed to which is to move air. You can obviously do this for much cheaper with traditional bladed fans. Overall, we're happy with the item and like the Dyson quality.
