Good vacuum but very expensive

It doesn't consistently lock into place and you have to check it before letting go of the handle so it doesn't crash to the floor. It is not as comfortable to use as my Shark Rotator but it does clean a little better. I ran my Shark around the entire house, then ran the Dyson. The Dyson did pick up about a 1/4 tank of extra dirt in the bin.

Amazing vacuum cleaner!

Had to replace the first only because I jammed the canister into the unit and could not dislodge it - completely my fault. It was improperly positioned with a one inch gap so it could not achieve suction. Had I not been careless, it would still be working today as good as the day I bought it 8 years ago!

Cleans Everything

I found this new, not refurbished, for a great price at Best Buy. I decided to go for it. One of the best vacuums I have ever owned and my house overall is so much cleaner. I use it not only for carpet but hard floors, upholstery, curtains, blinds, and shelves.
